    Dev, been following your career and after your unfortunate situation with douche abby, a lesser man would have dropped out of the business, however, you turned a negative into a positive and flooded the market with some of best interviews I've heard from anyone who does these shoots. I didn't see it coming honestly and pleasantly surprised. Releasing bits at a time is a great formula and gives me something to look forward to. I'm from Baton Rouge and grew up on mid south and world class and the Von Eric's. No one talks about these territories as much you cover them. I absolutely love your channel and can't wait for the remainder of the Perez shoot. Keep them coming my brother and you have a loyal listener for life. Sincerely, Barrett j. Mabile

    I saw the match it's on You Tube, Lawler, shoots on Kerry Von Erich, forgetting he had his blade taped to a finger and he went to scratch himself and cut his bicep open before the match, so Lawler, posted Kerry, trying to do the best they could to make it look like the blood came from the bump. Robert Fuller who spoke highly of Kerry, also said thinking at first it was a rib Kerry, would come up in the locker room saying something like "How have you been, how are the kids, that's what it's all about." But he would forget and come up to Fuller, like three times before the show and say the same thing.

    This interview right here throws all the "drug" charges against Kerry into serious doubt IMO.

  • @richiehunt5097

    @richiehunt5097

    Gary Hart wrote in his book that the Von Erich boys were just fine, drug wise, when he was booking World Class. When he left and Ken Mantell took over, they stated to heavily abuse drugs and the locker room was a completely different scene when he came back under Mantell's booking. It's hard to tell how much of that is truth or not. David died in February '84. I don't believe he died of a drug ovedose given the autopsy. But I do think he was using pills given that Bruiser Brody had mentioned that he had to confiscate pills at the scene and Black Bart said David would do qualuudes and whisky after the matches. It could be that the locker room was using drugs at the end of Hart's booking in World Class (which was around '83) and the drug use didn't show up until later. But Kerry was a drug addict.
