As if that weren't enough, he portrays the gruffness of the retired Lt. Col. Army ranger to a tee. The man's acting skills are limitless!!

My bashful and magnificently gorgeous wife was a classical ballroom dancer. She practiced emergency medicine as a hobby! She taught me as far as I could go. At only 31 she was suddenly taken from her family and community’s need when while attending a board certification examination in Chicago she and some colleagues left the hotel the examination was being held in for a visit to the water-tower monument . They were confronted by some teenage scum , who grabbed her and a Doctor from Texas, the object was robbery, She panicked and they shot her three times! Cameras everywhere and witnesses who came forward and testified. The problem is the kid who was wearing the red shoes and shot her was 14 years old and they would not charge him as an adult (District attorney Kim Fox ) so , at most he will do four years ! Reverse racism is in full force in Chicago. From the mayor all the way down to the cop on the street if you are anything but black you are definitely in the wrong town.

This is definitely a classic moment preserved on film. Nothing like a little romance to indulge one's fantasies.

How I loved thus scene and love it even more. What great acting. Al Pacino had to do that rather difficult dance but still remain ‘blind’ through the scene never letting his eyes focus. Great acting in this movie.

There's nothing like dancing with a man who knows how to drive. Just follow his lead and he'll carry you along making you look marvelous in the process.

How can four people not enjoy this beautiful scene.

I read he was a professional dancer before becoming an actor. And this is the first and only take, to make it look like the first time. His idea. It was wonderful. Some men "have it', some don't. Same with women. Such is life.
