Here to show the utmost love and respect to Al B. Sure and Mike Tyson! I was born in the early 80's so imagine how I felt as a kid in 1988 when Al B. Sure's "In Effect Mode" album dropped May 3, 1988....Guy's "Guy" album dropped June 13th, 1988...then New Edition's "Heart Break" and Bobby Brown's '"Don't Be Cruel'" dropped the exact same day on June 20th, 1988!!! Talk about an amazing summer 1988!!! You couldn't tell me being a young black male wasn't the coolest thing on planet earth. God bless your lifelong friendship together....very special and rare!!

The way AL was talking about the multi culture kids he grew up with. That is exactly how I grew up. New York is a special place. Different from Chicago at least my experience. I grew up in Hammond, IN right next to Chicago. In my city, we were lower middle class we struggled but we never did without. Both my parents had to work to make ends meet. Most of my friends lived in the projects just a few blocks away. My school was cool very diverse and 0 racial tensions. Plenty of fights but, never because of race. I still keep in touch with many of my old friends. I live 300 miles from there but's still home. I spent a few summers in Queens ant in a 12 unit apartment. My aunt had the summers off. She was a school teacher. in that building it was a different race in just about every unit. We barbequed together, sharing, The adults always looked after each others kids. Multi cultural it was like a big family. People would bring us food all the time. Different stuff from all these great people. I've been lucky all my life as far as great role models. That's pretty much my experience of New York. Very surprised but great!

Loved this... Al B. Sure has a very soothing voice... Make me feel super relaxed..Would love to see El Debarge on here...

Al B Sure. What a great artist. I didn't know you still toured. Is there any new material? Loved the stuff in the late 80's. I hate to call it old school. Mostly because we aint that old but it was 35 years ago. It makes me feel old. R&B has changed so much, I miss hearing the great R&B from the 70's - 90's. You were one of my favorite solo artist from that late 80's. You seem really cool and, I'm sorry about your beautiful ex wife passing away.

Nice Video i will watch every Video
