    I’m trying to understand this so I’m sorry if I sound a lot off. If you don’t show you have akkermansia does it mean that you have no mucus to feed the akkermansia or does it mean that you have no lining? I’m confused.

    we all don't have every bug. some people just don't have it, although the majority do. there is also variability in microbiome tests, it could show zero presence, but then the next time, it could be positive. this is my short explanation.

    @@TheMicrobiomeExpert I see. Thank you. But we do need alkermansia, right? Does it mean that if it doesn’t show on one test but the next has it we can keep feeding it and will it stay only if we feed it. Thank you

    Ive overweight many years, last year i went meat based low carb veg , a little saurcraght daily was doing good,v3: months ago got antibiotics for a gut bug, now I'm struggling, IBS like symptoms, no cancer, still having bowel movement but slow digestion, pain at night as soon as i lay, i heard about ackramansia, got a bottle, but trying to decide to try it ?

    The data I seem is that leaner, healthier and people who live closer to 100 all have higher levels of akkeamsia. Just an observation but that does tell me, its higher for a reason. Is it the healthier diet and exercise that promote ? Probably 😊
