World well-known Museum for Fly Fishing by FFF (International Fly Fishing Center@Montana, USA) is preserved his Bamboo Rod and Landing Nets for permanent exhibits.
2015, Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum had an exhibit for AKIMARU RODS.
Akimaru's representative original rod "HEXA" has a joint part with a bamboo ferrule specification, and delicately toughening realizes smoother rod action.

1949年福岡県生まれ。
バンブーロッド・ビルダー。
世界最大のフライフィッシング団体、F.F.F.のフライフィッシング博物館、International Fly Fishing Center(米国、モンタナ州)にアキマルのバンブーロッドやネット等が永久展示保存されている。
2015年New Yorkの博物館 Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum で AKIMARU RODSの個展が開催された。
アキマルの代表的なオリジナルロッド「HEXA」はジョイント部位がバンブーフェルール仕様になっており、微妙に靱ることで、よりスムーズなロッドアクションを実現している。
