The mushroom people are all suffering the effects of the kind of mushrooms that they are. So the kneeling one is actually doubled over from extreme stomach pain, the bending over backwards ones are delirious, and the laying down/sleeping ones are actually just dead! So it's actually an educational toy as well, lol. Really fun video, btw, you guys should do more like this.

I think the mushroom ones should appear to look like someone who ate the poisonous mushroom they resemble. Well, maybe. But those certainly hit the spot for the strangest Gacha you got xD And for the cutest/best one: The capybara, that thing is adorable :D

The cutest one I liked was Amy's Capibara! They look like they have a little smile! :) The strangest one I like was Phil's Venus Flytrap!. Something unusual but quite an interesting find to add to the collection! Looking forward to many more Gatchapon videos that you both come across in the future! There might be some Olympic 2021 themed ones for next year! Well worth a find if you come across some!

Amy has the strangest and Phil has the cutest. Mushroom man is really funny, the instruction says "Horrible stomach ache" XD

I think Phil's hamster is cutest, but Amy's toadstool person is weirdest.

I think Amy won in both departments because the little purple animal was sooo cute! and the mushroom person was so funny and relatable

Venus Fly Trap is the coolest and strangest. Plus you can never have enough pouches! The Capybara are the cutest. They’d make you smile seeing them on your desk or windowsill. Gachapon are one of the activities I am most looking forward to when we finally get to Japan. We had to cancel our May trip after waiting a whole year, so loving watching these clips in the meantime 🦊🍒🍭⛩

Aww I would have been there in May too, on my cancelled trip! They're always bringing out new and amazing gachapon so they'll definitely be lots of good ones whenever you get to go! :-)

That's the thing about gachapon isn't it??! :-) (I guess that's why they make these strange series...!)

I HATE the mushrooms. They are creepy and upsetting... so Phil wins! But I will say I think the capybaras were ADORABLE. :)

Best: Hamster eating the seed Reason: I’m not sure if it’s also for you but for me it helps relieve my stress because of how cute the hamster is Strangest: The plant wallet one Reason: it looks weird to look at but it’s very useful, you can put your money, coins and small stuffs in there

My son is obsessed with carnivorous plants and he lit up when Phil found the purse, so the venus fly trap coin purse has our vote. He's also obsessed with all of your gachapon videos. Thank you so much for sharing all of the fantastic videos with us. We hope someday to visit Japan and do our own gachapon hunting as well!

Absolutely! There are some machines at the gaming stores now in the US but they are all filled with anime characters. We love the funny and strange ones the best!

Best is the Hamster... that is soo cute!!! The strangest is by far those Toadstools... LOL Why?!. so weird...but I love it!!!

I would say best was the hamster. One can never go wrong with a hamster. The strangest was for sure the weird mushroom person.

I think the fly trap purse is the strangest (but oddly I still want one lol). The capybaras are the cutest.

Best - The Cute Hamster Strangest - The Mushroom Person

Okay, I think Amy's Mushroom People are the strangest, BUT... the first thing I thought of when I saw them was the "Duffers" in C.S. Lewis' "Voyage of the Dawn Treader!" My vote for cutest is Phil's Venus Flytrap because I love carnivorous plants!!

Best: Capybaras! so cute Strangest: the venus fly trap, and Phil.... I have a need for that :D also the biggest mood: the mushroom :D

The hamsters were the best for sure, so Phil won that. Amy's mushroom people is weird and creepy so she get my vote for weird.

The best is the capybara set! So cute. And the strangest is the mushroom dude in despair. Thanks for the awesome vid!

I guess if I would be a gachapon item, I would be one of the strange ones! My best one would definitely be the Venus Flytrap purse! I have an actual venus flytrap at home (we named him Pibo. Short for Piranha Boy lol). Looking at the size of the fly inside, that flytrap is huge! :D (The Mushroom guy... (Funguy?) is a close second. They remind me of those Mushroom enemies in Dark Souls :D) My pick for the strangest one is probably the Russian-Doll Capybara! They live in South America and they still use this old Russian tradition? On top of that, the mother capybara stores her kid inside her head! If that's not strange, I don't know what is! :D

Capybaras 3 Hamsters 1 Amy wins for capybaras, of course, but also for apparently getting the best of the series. Kinoko 4 Venus 3 Close contest but the uncanny characters capture the Kowai Cup. But the only one I would actually want is the fly-trap purse 😆

Phill is so into this challenge! So awesome to watch him get into it!

The strangest is a tough decision but I would have to go with Amy's mushroom. I believe he has a severe stomach ache (probably from eating a bad mushroom!)😂 And the best one is the Capybara !

Hello Amy and Phil! I love this Gachapon Challenge! Miss Japan so much :D I think the best one (cutest) is the Capybaras Gachapon :) bonus point for the creative capsule idea. One vote for Amy! Sorry Phil, maybe this time I think the winner for the strangest is also Amy with her human mushroom thingy gachapon…kneeling toadstool. Another vote for Amy :D I love mushroom but this one has got to be the strangest design.

Best - always the hamster!! Sorry capibara :'( Strangest - probably the mushroom because you can find all different sorts of strange purses.

Happy memories! I always find it tricky to find somewhere to take a break in Akihabara (you need a sit-down after a while!!) - one time we had our snacks hiding sitting on the kerb in the backstreets!! :-)

I think the russian doll capybara is the cutest, and the strangest is the mushroom person. I realize those are both Amy's but Phil's were really close. I penalized him for being so late...lol

The best and strangest is the fungi! It really is a fun guy. I’d love it. But also would find the coin purse useful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The strangest is that kneeling mushroom person for sure (and I want it so much tbh) and the cutest/best are capybaras!

The Best was Amy's because it was cuter than Phil's. The Strangest was also Amy's because it was pretty weird, who in the right mind would actually buy those?

The curest is the hamster figure, and the strangest is the Fly trap pouch.

Kind of hard to chose the weirdest, as they were both pretty strange. But my choice is Amy's mushroom person. For best, I loved the capybara but I really really love Phil's choice, of a cute little hamster

When you showed the gacha machine of the mushroom people, it bugged me that キノコ (the japanese word for mushroom) is written as きの子. So I looked it up and apparently there is 木の子 "mountain-dwelling demon resembling a child​". I guess it's a pun on that.
