I have heard two other songs in you tube by Soorya Gayathri (Mathrupanchakam slokam nicely tuned by herself and a composition of respected B Shashikumar violinist) in this raga Dwijavanthi. All of them jewels!!. There is a unique feel when she sings raga Dwijavanthi. Thanx for presenting this master piece of Dikshithar in such a soulful manner. Though these classics are very popular among musicians, they now start reaching younger generation also, like film songs, through Soorygayathri's melodious videos. Please do not degrade Smt. M.S.Amma. Suryagayathri lacks devotion and Bhaavam and deeply pollutes tradition of Carnatic songs. Also she changes all the Sacrad Sangathis of all the songs she sings. Also she seems to impress her audience by her ugly shaking of her head constantly. She has to perform parikaaram for having changed the entire pattern of Sacrad Carnatic songs into kutthaattam. Sri Saraswathi Matha may forgive her if this singer begins to respect tradition of the Carnatic songs and follows without ugly kutthaatam.

Very popular and difficult varnam of Deekshitar swaami, well sung by Soorya Gayatri.
