If someone slaps your mother will you let that go just so you can not appear violent, this is a dangerous message, that is how the ummah would be bullied. The word for "YOU" in the singular is "ALAIKKAA." We say "AL-HAMDULILLAH" - The (or ALL) Praise BELONG TO GOD) - when we wish to thank GOD (for His favours). We mention "ALLAAH-U-AKBAR" (Allah is the GREATER or GREATEST ??) when HE (Allah) cannot be COMPARED TO ANYTHING ELSE as He's THE ONE and ONLY GOD !!! We exclaim "MASHA ALLAH" (what Allah has willed !!) when we wish to express our gratitude to HIM (God). "INSYA ALLAH" (If God wills) when we express something that may happen in the future.
