I purchased one about 6months ago. I have not installed it yet (for my 2023 Toyota Sienna). I have the same issue like you mentioned. I wish they used an actual glass mirror, JUST LIKE THE OEMS . The glass they used is a regular clear glass. So if you want to use this as a regular rear view mirror, the reflection IS VERY DARK, rather than a silver reflective glass mirror.

I've been looking at this dash cam for a while now. But, it doesn't have wifi, so I can't send files directly to my phone. That a deal breaker for me. I'm going to wait for the next version to com out. Maybe it will have wifi.

I am trying to find out if the parking mode if it stays on all night or is it only works with motion or impact
