Sr I have always listened you saying that if the universe made you in a position to help somebody then u will otherwise u will not, like this if everything is in universe control then... Is it worthful to work hard for our short term goals(like in studies ,business) to achieve more in life ? Bcz as everything in the control of universe then/we should not make all these goals?

By doing well in your carreer you will have the ability to help someone when universe puts you into that situation. So to get prepared is our job and assignint task is the job of universe.
The Sikhi know that ALL IS THE TOTALITY. We have no distinct name for it..Hari..Ik Onkar..WaheGuru... Karta Purakh..and more are descriptions of the indescribable. As creatures in a river we know all is water... even our bodies are water. We are separate yet one with the water. Panentheism..,the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. We do not give this all encompassing entity the epitaph of 'God' we do not claim it is benevolent or oppresive..it is beyond such concepts. We do not pray to it asking to save our loved ones, we do not pray to it asking it to save us. We pray to our selves because we are the Totality. We pray to summon the strength to get through this school. The Totality has no interest in our pain or in our joy. IT IS SELF CONTAINED AND BEYOND SUCH TRIVIA. We know if we let go of our rocks the river will smash us against those rocks. it does not do that with any direct intent..it does that because of physics...the rules...the script...Hukam. We know that if we refuse to cling to the rocks some of us may be lifted free and enter the seeming paradise of a still lake...probably to be eaten by pikes. We know others will be sent over waterfalls and rapids. THE SIKHI ARE UNDER NO DELUSION THAT SUBSERVIENCE TO A GOD WILL BUY US PRIVELEDGES. THE GOAL OF THE SIKH IS TO BE PERFECTLY IN TUNE WITH THE COSMOS AND TO STRIVE TO GET THROUGH THIS SCHOOLING WITH AS MUCH LEARNING AS POSSIBLE. WE CHOOSE TO HELP OTHERS IN THE RIVER BUT THE TOTALIITY CARES NOT A JOT WHETHER WE SAVE THEM OR DROWN THEM There is no evil..there is no good and bad..you choose what you want to do and I will choose to assist you, oppose you or ignore you
