As a soldier in an army where the AK is the standard infantry weapon, I usually use the over-hand reload rather than the under-hand reload (the one shown at 5:00) as the over-hand reload is faster and easier.

0:15 fun fact about the guns in Far Cry 2. They degrade without any repairing systems in place, and will eventually explode after excessive usage. The same goes for that Golden AK. There's 4 in each of the two maps, and they'll last 24'000 rounds of ammo

Of course will they not give the feel of a real one shooting without ear protection. The only thing you feel is the vibration of your controller or the hard plastic of your mouse. While the real one gives vibration all over your body, it smells a distinct smell after shooting a round, you will feel the stock even after shooting if it is your first time or you didn't had it seated properly, maybe even having a casing falling under your sleeve and you trying to get the fucker out haha

@@schoolboytemik what if i tell you that there's no AK-47 in Arma 2 at all? The main difference between the AK-47 and AKM is the milled and stamped receivers. Only the earliest of AKs had the milled one. Those were produced until 1959. That's when the manufacturing switched to AKM entirely (at least in USSR. Chinese and North Koreans and some others continued with the milled receivers). The more you know.

If I remember correctly, a lot of the weapon sounds in the Battlefield series were recorded straight from the muzzle, thus the sounds of rushing air over the actual report of the shot, then they edit it to sound "realistic".

There is technicaly an AK74 5.45x39, not AK47. Which is strange but possible, because in Russia AKM was fully replaced with AK74(M) a long time ago

AK103 is an export thing and wasnt issued (at least officialy). There is a number of AKMSs in stock, but in Russia 7.62x39 almost out.

anon Sadly, but only airsfot SVD. My dad had a hunting Vepr SOK94, RPK based carbine. "AK-hudreds" used in small numbers in early 2000s (AK-105 and AK-103) and AK-107 was an AEK's counterpart until AK12 was anounced. But today Ground Forces uses 74N/74M, police and borders uses AKS74U, Special Forces also have a huge arsenal including Groza series, 9x39 AS/VSS and tacticooled old AKMs.

The black ops ak47 looks like an original AK 47 but the curve in the Magazine looks more like an 5.45x39 AK74.

An "original" AK 47 never existed, because it was called AK. There was AK-74, AKM and many other models, but not AK-47.

Eugene S The AK47 did/does in fact exist, it was the first weapon developed by Michail Kalasjnikov. It was named Avtomat Kalashnikova which was shortened to AK, made in 1947 therefore it was called the AK47. There are several AK weapons, and one of them is the AK74, developed in 1974, and that weapon replaced the AK47, but it is still a real weapon.

+Aldynn San Andreas doesn't need a remaster. It's a timeless classic a remaster would just be a different game. Play GTA5 it's basically a San Andreas sequel.

1998 CS 1.6 has bullet shell sounds, whilst 2012 CS:GO doesn't. Oh, the irony. **plays tiniest violin**

Vitaliy Yavorsky shell sounds create distracting noises which affect competitive aspect of the game. That's also the reason Valve made the shitty sound replacement.

xHypocrisy Its easy Ak 47 have plain polished top cover and AKMs have lines on them Ak 47 have a stock which is inclined with respect to the reciever. AKMs have straight ones Ak 47 have rectangular box shaped dent on the magazine catch. AKMs have small dimples Ak47 have a heavy barrel. A milled reciever. AKMs have lighter barrel with small holes on the gas block and stamped reciever
