I plan to use ester line, do I use it as a leader with PE OR just entirely ester line? Thank you!

If your using ester as a mainline, you will still need a leader. Some of the leader I use are shown in this video 👌🏼

I just learned from this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/fnyZm5OnktPOeps.htmlsi=37anAwvHwE8Qri6B (go to 2:04) that ester is actually the main line and fluoro is the shock leader. I just bought a reel of 0.4 ester to pair with a 1.5 fluoro. As for reel, I am using Shimano Vanquish 1000SSSPG to pair with a Bone Voyage UL.

For me 2 is enough. 3 is just nice. 4 the knot will be too big.
