That mic is the bomb. Seen a lot of musicians use them. I use earbuds on my phone it makes this music sound like you are there. I love this group.

If this is the state of modern bluegrass, I say let’s have lots more of this. I’ve never heard this style of bluegrass before, and it’s a musical evolution that does a great service to the genre. Musical styles evolve, and sometimes that evolution takes a style too far from its roots and essence to become something altogether different that really isn’t on par with what came before. This style of bluegrass hasn’t gone that way at all. This is a beautiful bluegrass style evolution. And these musicians’ feel for the music is impeccable. Bravo!

Such a beautiful song! It takes bluegrass somewhere it's never been and plants it in a whole new meadow... on a Blue Summit just in time for spring.

Every aspect of this is excellent! The blend, the mix of Scotty and Sully's guitars interweaving, tight harmonies, Chad's SOLID basswork, Jan's super accurate fiddling....sheesh! Scott's sheer focus on this one is strong....And AJ, what can I say? Boss lady with the voice of an angel just brings it! Great stuff!

Music of such stunning beauty has a power beyond words, remaining an expression of things unspoken and barely understood. Where AJ (with her unique talent) has managed to assemble musicians who seem to be her peers I cannot begin to comprehend. Thank you so much for this offering.

Yeah, AJ has ties to the Tuttle family going way back and that is well documented. I saw Blue Summit almost a year ago in Bellevue, WA and, in between songs, the other guitarist, (apologies to him, I don't know his name) and AJ talked about how they practically grew up together. The only reason I know this is because I heard it from their mouths. He and Sully are both good pickers.

@@prairiedan - That is a shame. We have gotten so much good music from England. We should pay that back. Apart from AJ Lee and Molly Tuttle, there is another young bluegrass artist I like. His name is Billy Strings. He often appears with Molly and the two of them together is a lot of fun to watch and listen to.

I been a fan of Aj Lee for over 10 years now, so incredible too see her grow and create this amazing music,would be so cool to see aj and Molly tuttle make some music together again!

surely at the vanguard of bluegrass and folk music, an exceptional piece and credit to all. Personally, at the risk of being a party pooper, ... I did not like the slap strum on the mandolin during the fiddle solo but I'm a very awkward & picky old man! AJ & Blue Summit are a wonderful group and AJ has the voice of an angel.
