    Esh but I think more cause you didn't think through what the US is like before you commited to having kids there. Americans talk about America problems online enough that you could have looked into this beforehand

    As an American, especially a southern. I don’t think it’s necessarily bad for you to want to move out of the country. But you made a prior commitment with your husband. He has a lot of family around him and supporting him. But we’re not just a crime ridden, ecologically, dying country, bro. Just like anyone else we have our problems and we have our upsides. I’m sure New Zealand is the same way.

    But it's getting worse in the US by the day, wanting your child to be safe should be his priority too. She might still have had hope before the election sinse Trump didn't get voted a second time then.
