As a poor person that got to go on a business trip that consisted of 4 Emirates flights (3 were business and had made enough points from those 3 to justify the price to upgrade to first for the last one) can confirm I did not sleep on 3 of them.

As a poor person, I would get drunk in the lounge itself

Air tags saved my aunts luggage. She went on a business trip to 6 countries back to back, and of course, in the last round back home, her luggage went MIA. She activated her app, and could see they were at her last stop, so she called the airline who told her they would look for it, but they couldn't seem to find it so she literally told them where it was with her app. LOL! Next thing she knew it was moving again, and she followed it all the way until it got to her doorstep. After that, everyone in the family got air tags. Worth it.

I love these travel videos. Same as with the cooking shows and the tradesmen shows doing plumbing and pressure washing, I watch because I never do that myself.

We are flying Emirates business class from JFK to Milan for Italian GP to Monza. Looks like First is a massive step up.

The technology behind AirTags is super cool! Hopefully I’ll be working on projects like that soon (soon to be EE grad)

Great hint on find my luggage sadly no longer supported under the current version of IOS on the iPhone.

If you are on the Apple ecosystem. AirTags are a must for travelling. They could save a lot of time & heartache.

My air-tags are anxiety inducing! They only work if the handler has "find my" on their phone. The best First bed is JAL - but not private like Emirates 777, they lead in that aspect (JAL service and food is good, but they are behind the times with "open" suites)

I have never fly on first class before, I was wondering if those in flight food and drinks are free or do you have to pay for it?

It'd bee cool to see a comparison of an F1 photographer following the entire calendar but cannot fly business or stay in nice hotels. Can you imagine all that travel but done on a low budget? How would the other side do it? How much more exhausting would it be?

I use Airola. But you can's use it here thanks to the govt's rule about registering at the post office

To be honest, that Emirates First Class suite looks too small it's more suited for Business. But then again, what do I know - the only First Class I ever experienced was on Malaysia Airlines's A380 a decade ago!

You could use airalo for second sim.

Ok but at what point were AirTags discussed? All that was mentioned was a questionable app with one rating which hasn’t been updated since 2015 and doesn’t comply with Apple’s App Privacy disclosures.

We travel every year to Italy (from Sydney), last year twice!, and we each have an Air-tag for our check-in bags. However, I have read that the airlines are stating that Air-tags are not permitted in check-in luggage because they have Lithium batteries. Comments?

It depends on the airport if they have sensors to detect lithium batteries. I know China has them. The person in front of me at the checkin line had set of the sensors when his luggage went thru a small tunnel. They brought his luggage back to remove the lithium battery pack. Also it may depend on the size of the battery I think.

I just got ripped off at the airport FX. 285£ got me 250€....daylight robbery if you ask me.

You could not have flown the same aircraft on JetBlue. Jetblue fly with Airbusses (A320, A321 and A220) and Embraer 190s where Fludubai flies only Boeing 737s. The cabin of the A320 and 737 can be quite similar.

The caviar comment is precisely why expensive food is a con. We should be eating better, and shark fin and random weird food is not sustainable, or the answer.

So they give you average champagne on boarding…. really poor for First Class. A nice gesture from your wife to upgrade your class of travel. Although they may sanction your stomach for eating that Iranian caviar…

Keoghs Irish crisps in the 1st class lounge. Exception and they even do a Guinness flavour.
