The Globetrotter and Pottery Barn were the floorplans that we liked the best when we were looking at Airstream trailers. In particular the Globetrotter 30RB and Pottery Barn 28RB. The front lounge arrangement in both made for more comfortable TV viewing and space to spread out for the two of us when using computers and other stuff. The twin bed options also open the bedroom up quite a bit. The drawback with Airstreams for us are the very small shower and lack of exterior storage space. The lack of storage space is a big one as it means almost everything we stow in the trailer pass through storage would have to be moved to the truck bed and we would have to get a locking bed cover. These were enough for us to decide no matter how nice they are an Airstream is not for us.

I love it. Airstreams are just freaking COOL. I just wish they were not so danged expensive.

The transom windows are brilliant - all that extra natural light!

Enaida is getting pretty good at these videos. She even did "potable." I like cabinetry and the mirrors (for short people). The flexible dinette area is cool 😎 Another thing I like is the included bins in the storage areas. You don't have to measure and go find ones that fit, but they are included in the price!

Yes I confirm all the way from France (Dutch however) I can only confirm yes Eneida (hope I spell it right) knows what she is doing and she is doing great, and should also speak about the tires why not, and I confirm she is a beautiful person, and Yes I would like to see more Airstreams in Europe it's expensive but keeps in value it makes part of the American dream keep ongoing Eneida

Eneida is lovely. Excellent tour of this globetrotter. Frankly I was surprised when she said the dual twin beds were more common than the queen. My wife would NEVER want to have two twin beds.

Great video. Like the International but a little bit better. I prefer the smaller size of the International but I like some of the details on the Globetrotter. For instance the drawers under the sink instead of cabinets. Love that u-shape dinette. Not a fan of the bathroom. It occurred to me, after watching these two videos, that I don’t like the lack of windows on the passenger/camp side. Even though there are tons of windows, placing kitchen on that side makes it dark and less open to the outside.

What a beautiful unit. A little expensive, but, you get what you pay for. About Anita.... What a great sales person. Full of knowledge and very friendly. She could probably sell ice to an eskimo... although they are not called sskimo anymore, but it's a tag line. (No disrespect intended) And yes, she should do the " look at these tires" line. A well built unit, plenty storage, nice matrrials on furniture, roomy shower. I personallly think the toilet area is a little small, maybe in the future they could remove the one small closet nearest the restroom and make it a prime pooping position. Otherwise, a great unit. Great Hostess, and very nice review. Thanks.

I had no idea the roof was painted white. I love Airstream products. I think Eneida is a fantastic presenter and salesperson. If I were ever in the market I’d definitely like to see them in person and help her benefit from the sale. I hope Matt teases her about doing the high pitched tires commentary. I Susie t that’d be her worst nightmare.

Don’t forget to get an Rv Inspector if you’re dealing with Tampa. Hopefully we can pick up Air Stream tomorrow. Weeks after signing for multiple issues.

We just looked at this exact camper last weekend! I agree the 27FB is the perfect floor plan. But I really hated those flat white upper cabinets in the Globetrotter (like deal breaker hate), they are just asking for smudging and staining, Ikea looking. Even a lacquered white (ie Winnebago) would hold up better. I like the wood tone in there though. Give me the Flying Cloud or International cabinets all day.

Y’all need to either boost the audio when Gabby is speaking or mic her. With the exterior noise, it’s difficult to hear. She’s too far from Matt’s mic/the camera’s mic. She knows her stuff, what we could hear! Props to Gabby! Love the Airstream, though.

I love Airstream, but don't like the prices. But I have to say that I love the curb side and rear awning.

👍 Twin beds

That toilet position in the 27 has been an issue for years! It's horrible! I would go up to a 28 for that one reason alone. Airstream does do the twin beds really well, you actually have more bed space per person with the twins than with the queen, both for length and width, not to mention easy access for both people, no squeezing around. Fairly recently Airstream offered a 26 that had a great floorplan, I liked it better than the 27. Good Job Matt.

Can you convert the twin into a king?

Is this globetrotter available? We are wanting twin beds. Plus max on solar power. The 27FB is perfect. I want to purchase. We had a 2005 safari before.

I guess I don't get why they left that dead space by the beds. That could have been more room in the shower and toilet area which would be a better use of space.

I'll never understand how a trailer with very primitive amenities costs six figures. No slides, a very small bathroom, your sleeping on two twin mattresses that are separate. Other than great build quality. I don't get it!

Can they come without A/C Units ? I don’t like a/c in my camper I prefer without them !

Rubber roof on a Airstream. Thanks Thor you had to add your touch to them. they are certainly nice trailers but not the quality they used to be and certainly not worth the same price as a nice motor home. A lot of used 2021 and 2022 models are listed for sale for significant saving online I think many people realized they paid a lot of money for a name that used to be a lot better quality then what it is now under Thor.

TJ, they've been under Thor since 1980, so almost half of their time in existence. I am very pleased with the build quality of my 2017 Sport 22FB and 2021 Globetrotter 25FBQ. Prices for new ones have increased, but mostly due to cost of materials. Also, there is no other camper/RV that holds its value like Airstream.

It's nice. But, that kitchen isn't it. The cabinets above the stove aren't great looking. The lack of counter space. No oven. No brown cabinetry for me.

I agree on the weight, wish they were lighter. However, the price for the what you’re getting is a good value. They hold their value better because they are well built. There is no comparison to a regular boxy bouncing trailer. They tow beautifully with the lower center of gravity and balance of weight. One should really wonder why most travel trailers are so inexpensive and cheaply stapled together

Most Airstreams can be towed with a 1500. All can be towed with a 2500. I tow my 2021 Globetrotter 25FB with an Infiniti QX80 with no issues. They also have other models that are even lighter and can be towed with a smaller vehicle. In fact, people have towed the Basecamp with a Tesla Model X.
