Anybody would be stupid to buy an RV today I heard somebody with a $3 million RV had problems the minute they drove it off the lot brand new RVs are being made crappy unsafe And somebody should campaign for a federal law

My Uncle worked at Airstream for years until he retired ! He sadly passed away several years ago his name was Leonard Flaute, he took great pride in his work and their product !

It is not a quality travel trailer. I’m hemorrhaging money and time, stranded since I picked up my new Pottery Barn, and Airstream has yet to get me back on the road, will not return calls or emails, only replacing the bare minimum, and puts up a harrowing and bullying argument any time I call.

I stopped in a week ago to do the tour and while my Airstream is not the traditional Airstream(1989 Land Yacht aka Squarestream) I got lots of kind comments from some of your staff on it. I appreciate them squeezing me in for the tour. It was very interesting and a testament on how a quality product should be built.

So many caravan owners here in Australia can only dream of vans built from the outside in with a large well built door. Expecially those those that have had to replace a fridge or other large part and had to cut the old fridge into pieces just to fit it out the door. Then they can only replace the fridge with a much smaller one to fit through back in the door.

This is got to be the best travel trailer. would love to chat on one one day. Thanks so much for the tour.

Going to pick up my Classic next week. We are upgrading from a 2020 25 footer. Really looking forward to having the additional space for our longer duration trips.

I’ve been on holidays in a lot of caravans, some big and spacious and some small and cozy as hell but I’ve never had the experience of having a holiday in an airstream. I don’t know if the lady in England still converts old airstreams into British spec but i did however watch a shedload of videos in which the ones that she did convert were done to a fantastic standard and that’s why i enjoy videos like this because it showcases just how much quality and standard that goes into creating these works of art. 🙏

Mine should be ready within next month or so. Can’t wait!!

I am on my fourth Airstream and have loved each one…currently a 2012 30 Ft Classic. The quality is unmatched from others. I certainly enjoyed this video and I found out a month ago that my first Cousin (Jay Kinney) is a good friend of Mr Humphreys and that is what makes this video special to me…If you don’t own an Airstream then you are missing out on life. Don’t make that mistake!!! Take my $180k loss to be your lesson. Airstream creates an emotionally charging and motivating video, but product and service are not to be trusted

@@pv8340 the 2010 census says that Jackson Ohio is 98.1% white, and about 1% Latino/Hispanic. That leaves 1% to all other races. I think the factory just happens to be in literally the whitest city in America. Shits crazy 😂

@@Navy1977 we preferred the 30' Classic because the 33' Classic had the recliners perpendicular to the dinette seating. This would make conversations difficult. Whereas the 30' had more of a conversational seating arrangement. When walking into the 30' you are met with an open area with a panoramic view. When you walk into the 33' you are met with a refrigerator. The bedrooms and bathroom in the 30' affords more privacy by being ables to double screen off guests at night. If you have to use the bathroom in the 33' at night you will be passing your guests just to use the bathroom. We do like the fact that the toilet "room" is separate from the shower stall and not contained in one room. While the drop down screen and bathroom in the 33' are really nice, we preferred the 30' due to our lifestyle. I hope this helps.

Justin, thank you for sharing this overview of your new factory and all of the love and attention that goes into producing the finest travel trailer ever. I'm looking forward to making my own purchase in the near future. I can only hope I have the opportunity to visit your beautiful facility there in Ohio.

Almost bought a used Airstream form Posts in Columbus back in the eighties. Wish I had made the deal. Quite interesting that GM had produced a RV back in the day that kinda mimicked the look of an airstream. I have seen many KZreadrs doing restorations from the frame up on older units. Very time consuming but the end results are fantastic. Back about 25 years ago I heard that one could take their Airstream back to the factory to have the interior upgraded basically a remodel, don’t know if it was true or not but that would be a niche market for the company to get into. Many successful years to the company and its employees!

Ever since I was a boy, Airstream Trailers have been part of American Culture. Their reputation for Workmanship is unparalleled in the RV Trailer Industry. If I had the means, I'd always wanted to buy a long Airstream Trailer.

It would be great to actually hear from your employees; those with long service and newer hires. Many of us want to invest in companies that have strong employee engagement and career paths. Great tour.

I watched a video that Airstream came as a kit and the buyer assembled himself. My dad bought a 1959 Airstream and I liked it more than the 1968 Airstream that he bought later. Cheers

It's nice to know something's are still expertly hand crafted in the USA and that there are customers who can afford the cost of a new Airstream camper. Your new factory is nice but I am more impressed with the expertise of the employees working on the factory floor and above it. Everyone appeared to be working intently and seemed to be enjoying their task at hand. I'm sure they are all proud to be part of such an iconic American brand. It's the people that bring true value to a brand.

Construction quality is the reason my 66 airstream land yacht it’s still usable. I would love to own one of the new airstreams but with my budget this old one fits my needs better and I can slowly update it as my budget allows.

Congratulations on the new plant. Super nice. I have always admired Airstream RV’s. However I can’t get my brain around the fact that they dent so easily. Never seen one on the road that didn’t have dings and dents. Also why are you still using antiquated bat insulation when spray foam performs so much better? Thanks

I just wish they still made the Airstream motorhome that looks like the trailers.

Very informative and no heavy handed selling. The only thing that I wondered about is why you don't build the chassis yourself.

Thank you for the tour. I am impressed with the water test and the cabinets after the structure process. Many other cheaper trailers use the cabinets to strengthen their sub-par structure of their trailer design. Having said this it is sometimes very difficult to validate your trailers extreme price. I also wish that the air conditioner could be integrated into the trailer rather than on top as it kills the aerodynamics of the original design.

Very interesting, some similarities to aircraft building. Love the look and quality of these, but don't like Bumper Pull, would only get 5th wheel for stability and load over truck axle.
