How do these compare to Anker Soundcore Space Q45 which are around the same price?

I bought these Earfun Wave Pro because with early bird coupon they cost me the ridiculous amount of USD 56. So like a tenth of the price of the AirPods but definitely not 10 times worse. They sound pretty balanced straight OOTB but with a certain EQ adjustment these easily can become a very nice sounding pair of daily headphones. They sound surprisingly crisp in mids and highs, and not with the limitations in the bass levels. They are not in the same league like the B&O, Bose or Sennheiser when it comes to HiFi sound but are not so far as you can assume. Built quality is also not cheap and squeaky. For the price these are no brainer.

Loved the original Earfun Air. Still use them today. Saw this & considering the upgrade.

OMGosh, I'm partially deaf with constant tinnitus (also reduced high frequency due to my age - a 57yr old teenager!) - the EarFun Wave Pro sounded so clearer (especially the midrange) & so much better to my ears (I'm listening with Sennheiser HD238 headphones). I'm sure I also heard hi-hats on those drums too! Compared to the Airpods Max (which had more sub-bass pressure which I really detest, being into 50s & 60s music!) I would definitely choose the EarFun. Thank you for this comparison; time to start saving I think - I might actually enjoy making music again!

How does this compare to soundpeats space?

I wear behind the ear hearings aids I was wondering what ear fun wave feels like. Now what’s interesting I was in the Apple Store today and they were perfect fit with hearing aids. Thanking anyone in advance who wears hearing aids and has tried both. Cheers Vancouver Island Canada .

@@michaelgreene9837 my personal choice is from Sennheiser,the one I use and many other of there products are not excactly wireless although there are some wireless options and/or wireless/BT adapters for them.. Another option for these is a 3.5mm jack to USB-C adapter, Sennheiser IE series, from the IE-100-900 series models.. My personal choices are IE-300/iE -500 and the IE-800/s models they range in price from approximately $279- 599 USD, But the iE-100 and 200 models are even cheaper yet depending are what you are looking for. And I use the 3.5mm too USB-c adapter on my iPhone/Samsung galaxy phone and the IPad/Galaxy Tab devices. From Tokyo,Japan. While I don’t have them any Sony MX series headphones are also a great choice from what I see about them.

I love my Anker over the ear headphones but they only connect with my iPhone and IPad. They are not discoverable on my Mac or Apple TV. Will these have the same problem? Latest OS on all my devices!

My Anker Q20 work fine with my Mac, iPhone and iPad. they don't shift between devices - you'll need to manually manage changing from device to device (I normally have to toggle off BT on the Mac to pair them to the iPhone.

I've paired plenty to my Mac. Maybe they are auto-connecting to your iPhone or iPad so they don't show up on your Mac? Try to turn off the BT on your other devices to pair for the first time on the Mac.

hey maxtech in my nearest apple store apple does not have iphone se3 and iphone 13 models and even they don't have those models to be shipped and probarly is because of the 4th gen iphone se and the 4th gen iphone se plus

Judging the quality using music like this really doesn't tell anybody anything. Reproduction of acoustic music is the only way to evaluate accuracy of headphones or speakers....using anything else just reveals a a personal preference.

Thanks for this comparison. It's the first that I've seen like this. I can't believe how expensive Apple's products are. Especially for something with a flimsy mesh headband and no folding capabilities. I own the Earfun Wave Pro and many others under $100.00. I guess it's all personal preference but I feel the same about Sony and Bose too. My review of the Earfun is on Amazon.

AirPods Max are $250 headphones with a $300 "Apple tax". But that's the price you gotta pay to look cool and "ecosystem signal" (sarcasm). Of course they sound better and have better ANC than sub $100 headphones. But the difference is so slight that it really should make anyone question if paying an extra $200 for Sony or Bose, or an extra $450 for Apple, is worth it. I personally own a set of Sony WH-1000XM4 (got them on sale) and they are amazing. But I also have a set of Taotronics BH-90s that I paid about $60 for 2 years ago that sound almost as good. I use the Taotronics a lot to just to save wear and tear on the Sonys, especially as it's always hot where I live so sweating is an issue. I would liken it to how I approach alcohol. Most of the time an affordable bottle of decent rum or whisky is good enough for me. Every once in a while I enjoy a drink of the expensive stuff but I also want to make that bottle last. One big knock on the cheaper headphones is the fake leather earpads will begin to flake off much sooner (eventually they all break down). However, you can usually get replacement earpads for cheap. I just replaced the pads on my BH-90s for $13 and they now look as good as new.

Better comparison would have been the EarFun against the Bose or Sony XM4

Those ear fun headphones are not available in UK where I am. I bought the older Sony headphones after your comparison. They are really great, I mainly use them on my TV for late night films. They are a little tricky to change between devices. But I don’t like wearing big ‘cans’ outside the house so use iPods pro.

I'd rather get the current Beats Studio Pro. It's a bit cheaper than the AirPods Max and has almost the same sound (since the Beats Studio Pro tend to have a flatter sound profile than older Beats over-the-ear headphones).

Questions about the Earfun headphones. Why didn’t you show the lossless music feature? Why didn’t you talk about the multipoint features also? These headphones do things the AirPod Pro Maxes cannot do, and you neglected to mention all of that. Also, I had the Apple version, and they were just too heavy to wear for long periods, while working or working out.

id prefer to buy once and buy right Apple win Im victim of trying the cheaper option first then end up buying the premium ones just because they are always better. oh ps the budget one `re nearly €100 here in europe

That’s Bluetooth for you! You can have amazing quality mics in headphones (and AirPods do have very good mics - proven by Transparency Mode), but if the sound from the mics is transmitted over Bluetooth it will nearly always sound bad… there simply isn’t enough bandwidth for good music sound quality AND good microphone quality. Nearly any cheap wired headphone will almost always have wayyy better mic quality than even a $500 wireless one (wired headphones FTW😂)!

Well the microphone is so far away on these that they're surprisingly intelligible, even though it absolutely gets wrecked by anything with the microphone near the person that is speaking.

We like our Apple Products but are not brand fanboys, which is why we often call out Apple, especially in comparisons where other brands are doing much better. Sometimes Apple devices are well worth the money and can be a lot better, other times not so much depending on what you do and ofc your budget.
