Well, as far as I can see, nothing has changed in collisions and VFX since 2004...
Could you do a video like this in Dcs but all the crashes are zoomed out? I think Dcs crashes look way better from a distance
DCS needs to improve the visual of destruction scene. My FA18 always have the wings chopped but whole body intact (with many holes though) when it's hit by missiles and such.

I like DCS but the collisions aren't as nice as GB. Also the replays sometimes don't work right.

I've found that the replays not working is usually the result of user errors. Sometimes it will display things you never did but after a few days of watching tracks nonstop the vast majority of them were flawless.
I think il2 has the most realistics destruction physics
