THIS is the sketch that needed to be 6 minutes long. Major props to whoever wrote it. The inner monologue of the baby was just so on point.

“He looks like A father” 🤣😂🤣😂😂 “Stop looking at us” ….this is hilarious.

“Pookie has returned! I feel such elation!” 😭

I work with babies around that age and this was 100% baby representation at its finest. Such smooth transition between the peek a boo and large poop. The scream after poop is optional, but I liked how Adam D delivered it.

​@@ABC-sz7rdHe was one of the few good things that came out of that trainwreck of a Disney trilogy. And yes, the shortcomings of the Kylo Ren character (or pretty much all the characters for that matter) shouldn't be blamed on him but the incompetence of the writers and directors of the trilogy.

That is the very best baby played by an adult skit I've ever seen. Adam really nailed it and he was hilarious. I'll add to what everybody else is saying he really gave 100% effort and it shows.

I 100% believe this is every baby's inner monologue 😂

Adam Driver is a menace!! 😂 He totally nailed this sketch! He’s clearly been holding back his comedic abilities. Wow!

The fact that Adam magically captures the essence of a young baby in his gestures and inner thinking said out loud is pure genius. He really is a terrific actor 😎👏🏽

"I'm done...but I don't like the way it feels" made me laugh way too hard 😂

I love the call back. She said she was scared he was overcooked since she was pregnant for 2 years. Back in Adam’s teacher sketch he was born 7 months early and put into a pizza oven until he was “ripe”. 😂😂😂😂

Adam Driver is one of the few hosts who could have played this part. He gets the balance just right in the screaming and crying and all the rest. You can tell they had a lot of trust in him to give him this type of sketch.

OMG! I love Adam’s acting and just watching his face with all the expressions during any character!

This was the best skit Adam did during his 4th time as SNL host.

The fact that he just goes all in on these sketches. Lines mostly memorized and all. Total gold.

Hard disagree. Thompson so often smiles his way through a scene, wholly inappropriately, ruining any sense of character. His delivery of that line (at 3:19 ), in particular, was an especially unfortunate example. It’s like his delivery and professionalism has hardly evolved since he was a kid on that terrible 3rd rate Nickelodeon sketch show “All That”, and that show was childish even for kids. He was fine in that black jeopardy skit but the writing and guest performances carried him. A character break used to be understandable and relatable when it happened every once in a while, because you knew that things had gotten so silly that even the VERY PROFESSIONAL performer was struggling to keep it together. Now it seems like they purposefully play into it which ruins the integrity of whatever premise they are presenting, on which (in an intelligently written sketch) the landing of the jokes rely on. This is like the equivalent of a toddler cracking himself up while saying “knock knock” and then forgetting the punchline. Sure, maybe cute when they do it, but fucking embarrassing in any other context.

If babies can talk like adults. Adam Driver definitely plays a good baby in this skit. 😂❤

Adam Driver deserves an Oscar for this alone 👶

Good stuff. Whoever came up with this and wrote it for when Adam was hosting seriously needs a pay raise or something. The milk spitting with "I feel much better" scene alone cracked me up.

Adam's acting ability and the writers for his entire episode, ended up with probably the best overall SNL episode in 20 years.

My heart really goes out to all the moms who carried their baby for two years and have the energy to take them on a solo trip. When they're stressed we never know how much they're going through 💗

I love Adam Driver on SNL. Every time he makes an appearance it’s going to be a good episode.

Adam Driver is the funniest dude of all time: unhinged, clever, perfectionist and insanely funny as unholy hell. Hands down!

Adam driver is that type of actor you wouldn't think you would see on SNL but his ability to be so sharp & convincing whatever role or character he's playing it's crazy how good of an actor he really is

Airplane Baby is a newly minted SNL classic. I can’t wait to see other actors take the baby seat. It will be hard to beat Adam Driver’s debut though!

Adam Driver rocks every damn sketch that he is in. No matter the role, he will nail it, and he will make it funny. Even when the sketch itself isn't that great. This one was hilarious. I love his dedication to every character no matter who, or what he's playing. As I always say, he is the best host of SNL of all time, and I wish he were a permanent part of the cast. Like Kenan permanent.😉

I think it’s surprising because he’s such a phenomenally talented ‘serious’ actor that we assume he’s a very serious person? It’s like discovering Daniel Day-Lewis enjoys fart jokes 😂 The oil baron is the greatest SNL sketch (and performance) ever and I’ll happily die on this hill!

That ending cries what happened recently at a Spirit airline flight recently (hopefully the writers got some inspiration).

He deserves an award for this 😂😂
