And to cultivate your self image Trust me when i say that among my "less stable" friends, a six-pack of abs has helped way more than any therapist. Not as much as a therapist plus being able to do push-ups (never mind therapist+six-pack) but definitely more than just a therapist.

I work at a gym It's a miracle some of my coworkers haven't dropped a 15LBS dumbbell on their feet yet

I can only speak from my own experience. And I don't have mental health issues as far as I know. But after I started jogging and then running years ago, it really improved my mood and my sleep.
