I really enjoyed that mate, personally I love sitting in a coppice waiting on a couple of plump wood pigeons to arrive.I think most people miss what airgun hunting is all about. For me its about being out in the forrest, wind blowing, trees creeking and that sense of peace I get being out there.

@@MichaelGallagher97 walk up to their farm, knock on the door, and ask. Don't act entitled or be a dick about it, they're busy and they are often concerned with their crops and their livestock, if they don't think you look trustworthy they'll not take you on. Equally they may already have given someone else permission, however if you catch that person you may be able to negotiate access with them. You will however be expected to turn up. The farmer needs the things taken care of. If you don't bother going every week, he'll be telling you to naff off. Oh and almost all farmers are agreeable folk. Maybe start out the asking without the weird bias against farmers.

Lovely filming and production, and Matt nails it in terms of what it's about. Going for a wee stalk with a spring-powered air rifle, communion with nature, listening, watching and learning, and if your timing is right, coming home with a couple of fresh rabbits or woodies, is shooting heaven.

I enjoy your video and would really like to hunt. But i just cannot kill animals just trying to to survive. But yet i know that the bunnies will cause the farmer great problems and if not contained , Will cause there cattle to break legs and and transfare disease perhaps. I do not condem your sport for nessesity. I feel that some may get carried away and perhaps kill for sport continousley, perhaps shooting hundreds of birds from trees. That i find upsetting. But thank you for your well presented video and the knowledge you share. For the ever changing weather in this country and possibillity of food shortages that may arise. You never know if this sport may be a good way of putting food on the table. Besides, The targets i shoot taste awfull. But growing up within a rural village. I know how nice rabbit stew tastes and just how bitter hair,s are. Good vid. Thanx

The only real advantage over a .22lr integrally suppressed bolt gun is that a sub 12ft/lb air rifle is licence free (especially given the fact that super colibri deliver 11 ft/lb).
