Airflare Progression Timeline

Sorry for the prolonged video. I tried my best to make it as short as possible to get to the point of each part of my airflare timeline.
Throughout these days of training I was in college and still I am now, sometimes I felt like I wasn't making any progress due to maybe being busy with school work and work at the time.

You can ! I learned how to do one in less than a year. This was back in 2003-2004 though. I was a teen at that time. I learned how to windmill, flare/multiple, 1990, 2000 ( easier than a 90 ), and one airflare at a high, vertical form all within one year. Later in the fall of 2004 I started practicing them with straight arms but because I was always limited in flexibility I could never go past one. Only once was I able to do two in a row with no effort and I think I felt my testicles twisting because of the leg swing. I've always worn boxers so that's another reason. That being said, I haven't tried an Airflare in years. I have more flexibility compared to back then so I suggest you improve on it and just swing whatever leg you use when you place your first hand down until your body can't swing no more and once you master that part I suggest you tuck your head and look at your feet while at the same time swinging your arm around your head. That's the difficult part. It just depends on how much you practice and what form you are trying to learn. Watch Moy's Airflares from freestyle session 5. At that time, the bboys that had them down were the only ones to learn from slowing down the vhs tapes frame by frame. Now you can learn all forms here on KZread. It just depends on your flexibility in arms, shoulders, hips and legs. Hope you get them.

These kinds of videos are what made youtube so amazing back in the day
I know this comment is three years later, but the amount of time and dedication you put into this, and your patience and persistence to continue trying day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year it truly inspiring. You proved there is nothing a person can't do if they really want it. Your dedication is bar none.
This video is really simple, but so many something that we can learn inside. This video is not only for Bboy, i think for singer, for actor actres or another fields, it show you if you want something, if you sure what you choose, and consistent, patient, work hard, hope and pray, feel pain, get hurt, you will got what you want.Fighting for you, guys!Best regard from Indonesia.

The kind of linoleum I got was a 12x12 for $176. Got it back in 2011. I recommend getting a cheaper kind.
The fact that it took years is so inspiring and makes me really reevaluate my training and the true lack of effort and consistency
Damn, man, nice work! Way to stay committed to something for so long...very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
MAN!!... what a spirit you got, i almost 3 years not bboying... and after watching you i got new motivation again to learn flare, even airflare.. great job bro
You worked for those dude! Good job man, straight raw airflares no sloppy ones
thank you to share to us your airflares progress!
Yesssss!!!! This was sooo dope in sooo many ways! so glad you made this video and it was so much fun to watch . Must have been so frustrating at times but you did it man !!! Wowowow!!!
That's awesome, way to stay on it. Thanks for sharing even early failures. It makes the success even better!
Yeah man !!!! Keep moving forward , awesome work , dedication ,and hard work paid off .
Congrats bro, Its awesome to see people still pushing themselves and not sitting on their ass playing video games. I have been racing dirtbikes majority of my life and several trips to the ER but it's called progression. Hat is off to you Sir!
It makes me so happy seeing people achive great things throw continuous effort
Really dope! Thanks for sharing your progress man congrats.
I started training air-flare in 2008, it took me 3 years to make 1 full round, i stayed with 1 full round for years, one day in 2015 all over the sudden at a training...i made 2 rounds...stopped, took a deep breath, and did 6, after that my record was 15, now its been about 2 years that i haven't trained much and i lost it, trying to get it back again but i gained weight and pains, if you're training it make sure you train a lot of handstands, spinning handstands, push ups, warm ups and stretches before you start training air flares, i also recommend you not to train everyday but every other day at least 2 hours, it will give your body time to rest and learn the move better, Great motivation video.
respectfully shouting in my heart, you are the motivator for me and everyone sincerely thanks. I am from Vietnam
Warrior, i got so much respect for people who want to improve constantly, to achieve a better themselves. Much love from Germany.

That was awesome bro. The time, the effort, the journey. Kia kaha
Beautiful progression. Very inspirational

When I first started breaking in 2010, I wanted to get airflares right way but my foundation was weak in the beginning, so it took me awhile to get them.
I love these progression videos, they are so inspiring, thanks to these videos I always got the motivation to learn Windmill and flare, and I did it, now comes the big step air flare, a huge barrier in terms of difficulty if you compare it to flare or windmill.
I'm glad you got it!!! Well done!!
It's allways a motivation to see those Air Flare Progression Videos! It shows me that I am not the only one who is struggeling with this move. I train this move for like more than 2 Years and I am still not done yet. For all out there who are training or starting Air Flares: This is not a move which you can learn in a few Training Sessions! It takes a while and as he says in the Video: Never Give Up and you will reach your goal, doesnt matter how long it takes!!! Very Nice Video Bro

Freakin awesome bro, a prime example of literally getting back up after falling. Someone becomes a failure when they don’t get back up after a fail, you literally got right back up and did it again and again and again until you achieved what you were trying to do. Awesome

Way to persist until you succeeded thanks for sharing your journey.
this is really a good inspiration, I had 4 airfare and Recently I quit doing it so much trying to do the so high air track much like 90 position but must say muscle memory won't allow me to do it and I think my old 4 airflare are too low to become a real airflare but anyway after seeing yous being this low and going round to round I am impressed and Want to practice my old one right away
