A friend of mine also uses brush painting for his aircraft. He does remarkable work as well. Your results look quite good!

Cheers, that’s good to know, it’s a bit of a rare technique in some circles haha😁

Looks really good! I've had problems with Tamiya bottled paint too. Can't get a good thinner to paint ratio to work for airbrushing and brush painting. Now Tamiya rattle cans work out much better for me. My go to paint for brushing and airbrushing is Vallejo. You've got a very steady hand when it comes to painting canopies and the red trim on the landing gear. Well done!!

Thanks mate! Yeah I’ve had similar issues with them. I’ve been moving more and more towards the Vallejo, and I have a Mig-15 I’m editing the video for which I used an Tamiya aerosol for and I was very happy with it. Thanks again for watching😁👍🏻

Interesting project. Reference intensity of paint colours...In a Monogram painting guide there was a forward covering "atmospheric perspective"; using colours to achieve distance, and real colour hues in scale aircraft. Intensity, or chroma, is the amount of grey in a colour. If you are seeking to reduce the intensity of a colour using white as de-intensification medium is the go. Camouflage colours have a low chroma, and the addition of white does not reduce the actual colour (Hue). The article recommended experimentation to achieve correct scale hues, however it did suggest that adding 36% to a given colour will achieve the scale effect for 1/72nd aircraft.
