That valve manifold is really cool! You might want to mount it on the ceiling since it’s kind of got the look of the throttle on an old airplane.

Don't think there is room there since the cab is small and the roof is really low now that I chopped it. But that would be cool.
Dang, that controller is a thing of beauty! That must be, one powerful thinking chair you got there, Bob! 👍Tony

Yep .. that thinking chair is like the new age AI systems ... it's constantly learning. LOL
I have to say, that controller is a piece of hot rod artwork! Well Done, Sir...
It’s things like this awesome controller that seperate your works of art, from normal rat rods....You the man Bob...
With gauges, and valves you're going down a Steampunk route, I reckon this will be as cool as Hell. Maybe craft in some copper lines and a Moonshine still on the truck bed?
Bob that's the best looking controller I've ever seen. Awesome
I must say I've watched a lot of ratrod builders, you have to be in the top 5, maybe even number 1. Others order a lot of parts, but you and Johnathan Ward build what you need, and teach others how to do it. So I guess you and Johnathan are in the top spots in my book. Grant video have enjoyed watching you build this truck.
Nose art on the fighter planes. Aviation style controls. Gun sight hood ornament. Sheet metal bucket seats . im digging it. I like the planes with the shark teeth.
Air Bag System - Manual Controller... what a "Great" idea. Looking good. Stay Safe.

I think your air bag controller will be the talk of the town. Speaking of that, I saw old red with no pants on yesterday. Can you please remind him that he ain't in Hollywood over there.

Yea ... it's a miracle for sure. I've been trying to figure out how to do all the valves and then it hit me. My design chair came thru again. LOL
Man that air bag valve is a work of art Bob it's pretty cool .
Another cool addition to a well designed rat, always love watching you create those one-off tricks

Thanks a bunch!
Great piece of plumbing Bob! I think you should hook the exhaust side to an air horn that lets everybody know that the truck and trailer are landing!
The sound effects make this video top notch.

If this was a ball game you knocked it outta the park right there !
It kinda looks like an airplane power controls. I like it .
Design Chair + Highly Classified Caculations + Pure Genius = BaddAss Control Center !!! NuffSaid, Take The Wknd Off W Pay Bob n Stay Safe n Healthy n Blessed.
Cool air bag tool Bob. 👍 Not to mention a lot of work. "You don't have to be a good welder you just have to be a good grinder." 😂

Ha haa ... T handle ... I get it now!
Love that Red....As a plumber i know the time you put in to that...and fittins @ $150 a peace can get pricey . them ball valves are like $6 a peace...they aint gonna leak .....
Nice Controler Bob,KEEP'EM Comin
Looks like something from a p51.. awesome rat rod style! right on Bob😉
That's awesome looks like the old ww2 airplane control's , 👍🏾👍🏾
Nice work Bob.
Maybe at some point think about putting some indexed detents on the pressure valves for different ride heights. You could use some ball springs on a curved bracket to catch on the speed holes in the handles. That thing's going to be scary cool!
Said it before I'll say it again ....with formal training you would have made one hell of a fine mechanical engineer!!!

donuthole4sale some of the best engineers in American history have no FORMAL education. The only thing a FORMAL education gives you is a piece of paper telling your prospective employer that you are trainable!! I’m sorry, I know I probly gonna ruffle a bunch of feathers out there with this comment but every one of you that’s been thru any of the FORMAL education centers that we have in America can attest that nobody upon graduating can walk into their new employers office on day one with any idea of what to do, even tho you just spent at minimum of the past 4 years studying the specific job that your about to jump into and you then spend the next 30 years in on the job training, learning something new everyday. A person that has the desire to learn a trade or skill or profession merely needs to learn the basic science, mathematical or whatever fundamentals that their profession is based off of and then you will be ready to jump in just as the 4-6 year FORMAL education warriors have except your at least 3 years ahead of schedule and carry no FORMAL education debt that will require you to make payments on for the next 20 years!! I’m sorry donuthole4sale, but your glamorous dreams of a FORMAL education are grossly overrated and a young-un today would be years ahead of their peers just by attending the local trade school nowadays. There are very few professions that can justify the time and money spent to receive a fancy piece of paper that only shows that he/she knows how to properly prepare fore a test!!

You got that right!
Bob, this thing is looking more and more along that P51 fighter look. Maybe you should think of painting that snout with the snarling sharp toothed mouth like the fighters had. Them stitch welds could look a little like rivets on the plane if you turn your head just the right way. Another cool idea Bob!
Ok Bob, you have my complete and undivided attention, HML. This is borderline genius in it's simplicity and I would definitely apply this design and plumbing into my own rot rod when the time comes. I will be waiting for your future build videos as I try to glean as much info as you have to offer, good sir.

Excellent!
Nice I’ve been thinking of making my air system manual...my old rod wouldn’t like all new stuff like the expensive builds do . I’m with you and love the look of airplane controls really sets the tone of the truck .
So god damn cool never thought I'd be hyped about valves till now
Nice job Bob.. 😎
That has to be the coolest looking air valve setup I've ever seen . amazing job !!!

Are you an Engineer? You come up with the coolest ideas. Great video Bob.
Pretty slick Bob! Another teaching lesson! Very cool!
That would look cool mounted to the headlining 👍🏽
I still think this is best part of the whole build
@RatRodBobBuilds

Yea that was truly epic.
You can buy little mufflers for the air out to quiet it down a bit. I’ve got them on mine. Can still hear it well but it’s not so loud. Those valves are pretty damn cool though. I dig it.
You are correct, sir. It is COOL AS HELL!!! 👍
Love the controller👍, but your sound effects were the topper on the cake😎
l approve that air bag system......Thanks Bob....Blessing your way
Looking good, I think it is going to be real cool when you get them installed. Can't wait to see the finished product.

That is really slick! So you spent a bit of money on this phase of the build. Any worthwhile project is always behind schedule and over budget! My Nissan Patrol 4x4 is 3 1/2 years and at least a truck load of dollars in the making. But what the heck. It'll be an accomplishment when it's done. As always, you keep me inspired, Bob.
Lets call it the B47 RatRod..... Stands for Bobs 47............ man its cool
I don’t know where you come up with these ideas. Very Kewl.
Bob I just won't you to know I think ever time you build something you knock it out the park.lot of time and money but they wont be one like it cant wait to see it in action grate video keep killing it pop's
Bob, that surely is a powerful thinkn chair ya got there. I never imagined the complexity and 💰 that system takes to create. That rain on the tin roof and your thinkn chair, boi i would have been 😴. Thanks from Chesapeake, VA!

Wowwww, thats really Cool Bob.
That's a very cool control module it will definitely got with the rat rod I got to say I look forward to your videos i have learned a lot for my 76 chevy stepside
Very cool controls. Love 'em.
I like your custom lift control value assembly..
Work of art right there. Thank You for the Vids Bob!
Hi Bob it looks to me that you dulled down those awesome whitewalls to give em a little more vintage look and that looks cool!
love it ,i can only imagine what the price tag would be if you hadnt fabed alot of it.brackets ,mounts & such.thanks Bob!!!!!!

@@RatRodBobBuilds you could do some cool leather covered pads and still have that vibe and not be as harsh on the old ass bones lol
So simple it’s genius love it
Hey Bob I think you should run that exhaust from the airbags through the floor underneath the truck so when you release the air whatever dirt or dust is underneath it'll blow it out kind of like when a diesel releases its air brake and you see that puff of dust or dirt come out
Cool sound affects!!! 😂😂👍
I like that system. Simplified, That's cool 😎
