One more thing Josh...my CO is Captain Estrada and that man is a LEADER and a very soft spoken man . He don't have to yell to get his point across...one way or another you WILL understand what he wants.
An extremely good presentation. I am sure the citizens of Denver CO can feel a lot safer after watching this video
35 stairs with Station 35 coincidence I think not
GoPro mounted on the door. Clever way to get a good shot. Really clever
I think I met nick in NC during hurricane florence, he was with CO TF, if it is, he was a great guy to meet, professional and polite!
Loving that 2-Stroke Detroit in Red 1, that thing is absolutely insane, already sinister, add that Detroit and it’s like maximum overdrive
I love this series and you guys should definitely make more!
Happy to see your Challenge flags hanging in the hallway. I was part of the Challenge crew for ten years, I remember you guys. Be safe!
You better not run through an intersection when that engine 32 comes through. That thing will smash a semi.

@@fishlips8336 they are near the airport but not on the grounds. Centenial Airport is a just a busy public use airport so they don't have a dedicated fire crew. (Chartered flights, busisness and general aviation)

Great Episodes from South Metro I will wait for New Videos . Thats Great
I can't imagine the workload having to man 3 trucks with 4 guys. What happens if your knee deep in a structure fire and an aircraft alert comes out?

I don't know if this is the case at Centennial, but in Jackson the minimum fire response on hand for commercial operations is one firefighter capable of driving one ARFF vehicle. Now, the airport has a dedicated fire house with three ARFF trucks and like twenty permanent staff but there are times when an aircraft is late that there will only be one firefighter ready to respond in case of a fire. Or none, if commercial operations have ceased for the night. And the nearest other firehouse is about a 20 minute drive away, with only one engine staffed.
Great job Eric and all involved... Love the camera on the roll up... LOL!
We just moved from Colorado about 3 years ago and sure do miss it but not the cold and the snow LOL. The first responders there are so awesome!!
I love watching these vids here on KZread. I'm planning my Career in FireFighting when i can go to college. Or do online college courses.
Another Great Episode Keep them Coming
To you and your crew thank you for your service captain

Very well documented. Very nice station you have too.
Good episode. Keep em coming
You should make a video that explains the use of your Emergency Vehicle Preemption system.
Sick Fire Hall. Very boutique.
Increased security, just go to the Perfect Landing at the Denver Jet Center. Great place to eat and awesome views.
Good job gentlemen!
the main dispatch of the computer is unique love it
Intro is awesome.
That pilot did an amazing job landing that plane
With so many flights into the airport I am surprised that there is not a full time fire crew on site. I can appreciate the compliment it from local station principle but a dedicated on site facility means that off airport incidents do not impact your response to limited / no notice emergencies
11:10 he is committed to that water bottle
Man I can imagine if the probie gets something wrong on a run or does something stupid at the station you’d put in timeout in the penalty box.
Would it be possible if you can get some videos of your Westnet Pre Alert Tones? LOVE IT
The uniform makes them even more handsome! 😍
In the UK your 'pre-plans' are called 1.1.d visits, an acronym for Section 1, Paragraph 1, Sub Section d of the Fire Services Act whereby all fire authorities must familiarise themselves with all high or special risks in their station area. Really pays dividends when it comes to firefighting. Love your downtime facilities. We used to do all sorts of stuff like that, building gardens, rock pools etc but they have taken virtually all down time off us apart from meal breaks, reduced manpower and increased the workload. Some of the things they task us to do now should be done by council works staff and care workers, consequently staff feel undervalued with an inevitable drop in morale. I'm glad I retired before the heart was ripped out of the job.
that is good and a great thing to go by
Great Video! Just wondering, what kind of camera do you use on the top of your apparatus and how do you mount it?
Would it be possible if you can get some videos of your Westnet Pre Alert Tones? ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT
So Alert 2 has involved fuel, my bet would be balanced it to a Alert 2 in 1+ BC32 and Port 5 along with station 44 & 45, good job Station 35
Inserting Nice show
Awesome
Hey "Will Ferrell" is the safety officer at this station. I remember things.
Rollin Coal with Style! #SMFR
wow......i hope we will have it stuff.....
What program do you use to pull up your preplans on the computer or iPad? We still use paper at my department but are looking for other programs
Just curious, what brand of turnout gear does South Metro use? Looks sharp!
Cool that’s the exact same as my department tower is
Nice fire sta
Excellent but how do you have fire trucks off-airport? Does that meet standards. Thnk you
Was in Captain Haker pawn at station 32
Jeff Bolstad, occupant of the first penalty box, at the Joint.
what is the average, daily call volume at Station 35?
When you do a mass casualties simulation how do you volunteer for it I would love to do one
What happens if the crew is out on a call with the tower and an airport emergency is declared where they need the crash trucks?
the movement areas of a airport is the taxiways and runways
As I may say this is a really cool department I love what they are doing. These airport firetrucks are terrible as far as pollution. They have a major purpose but that smoke stack is terrible.

So, Station 35 provides airfield firefighting units with ICAO standard?
I was a big fan of Emergency One.
A tower response is a all hands on deck thing isn’t it... or is it just saying “this tower is responding”
hi all, what happend, if the Tower is on a call, and there is any problem on the Airport ? the Firefighter can´t bring inn RED 1 and the other Vehicles?
Yay
Dang that airport truck is smoking a lot
Love your work, and your department has become a standard for others.. would it be possible at some point to do an overview of the IDT vehicles? I'm a 911 dispatcher, and we're looking to implement a tactical dispatch team, and I'm looking for ideas. I know the first episode kind of lays the team out, but I guess I'm more interested in the equipment you're putting on the rig for the job. Wondering if there's something we've overlooked and might be beneficial to us. Thanks, and keep them coming.
Gosh dang so you guys always pack out like that for every fire alarm?
That tower looks like my neighboring company
They should get live rescue to come there and do the show
Is red 1 and red 2 AT a airport?? How do you cross staff ARFFs?? My understanding is ARFFs have to be maned at all times the airport is open.
One question from germany.. yea yanks need to help me out with some.. In germany we have Airport Fire Departments, paid by the Airport and theyre only job is the Airport, how is it organised over in the us? Do you have community founded fire stations close to the Airfield, that are on job in the "land" and on the airport?
Looks like you need more staff
How many emergency calls you guys get on average per month?
Redone seems like a train with all smog coming out oof
Would love to know the intro music so intense
so what website can I go to so that I can apply ???

i have the utmost respect for this channel but to be honest i was surprised to see 2:35, usually you don your hood when you don the rest of your gear if i recall from when i was trained. i could be wrong, but what do i know

Despite all the comments and the apparent designation of the station with Red 3 to provide dedicated coverage, still seems odd that the ARFF units would be out of service any time Truck 35 is on a call.
Wish my city's fire department was this well funded but nah only cops get all the fancy shit
good info but the port 5 guy loves his own voice

Great color scheme !! This boss could calm a Wild Boar !!!! When the female dispatcher answers him, she's orgasming!!! No doubt he could have been a model, or TV actor. Being the Red Ass, I was the one who put the gear on in a hot school gym, and have each little shit slapping me as I crawled by on my knees. One scream and they would have shit themselves. "firefighters on the back can pull that up on their I-Pad", what's this dept's budget, WOW !!
Actually, the Gear IS Down. But not down and LOCKED.
if yer gonan be operating the Oshkosh on roads... should have better emergency lighting
I work down the street from there
