It's incredible ofcourse but trust me It's not really as complex as many of us think... humans are capable of much more... for example designing a b2 spirit bomber in 1988 is a marvel of engineering... sending rockets onto moon and mars.. sending voyager 1 and 2 in 1977 is crazy to think about and they are still working... There are literally fly sized camera drones designed in 1970s by US called micro unmanned aerial vehicle UAV... that is crazy to think what the military has today that we don't know.. We think passenger planes are modern marvel but they are very very far from what humans has actually achieved

Thanks again folks for another fascinating video. I'm always interested in the lighting inside the cockpit at night - a heck of a lot of thought must have gone into getting a colour and intensity scheme just right so that every dial, button, display etc was clearly identifiable, while allowing the Pilot and FO's eyes to retain as full an outside vision as possible. Loved those views outside. Hope you enjoyed your day in Manhattan!

I totally agree with you, there has been a tremendous amount of work done! It seems to have involved medics, biologists and engineers alike.

This had me confused as i knew that Norwegian have never owned an A380 but after some research i learned that they wet leased this A380 from Hi-Fly for a few weeks to stand in for the somewhat grounded Dreamliner fleet when they were having Trent 1000 problems.

This was very interesting and very informative video. Now, I have a great understanding why it sometimes takes a long time to get to the terminal after landing. You earned a new subscriber.

We just had a near miss at JFK on exactly the same runway and taxi area. Great to see how complicated it is at night and how you still have to be at a high concentration level even after landing to negotiate this part of JFK.

Thank you so much for the amazing insights - awesome look! 😍🎉We have been to a German airport (Leipzig/Halle) at night lately - and it was so exciting meeting all the people doing the nightshifts there and getting insights you normally do not have as a passenger. 🙂

A long way to the terminal! I recall being on the runway at the Honolulu Airport and taking 15 mins or so to get to the threshold for take-off! The Captain advised us that we were going to fly to Sydney, eventually!

😅 "Eventually." Honolulu and Sydney I've not travelled to. Likely won't. Enjoyed my first international flight - at age 65- last September. Washington DC (IAD) to Vienna, Austria on Austrian Airlines.
