I book hotels (Aman, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Belmond, etc.) for ultra high net worth individuals. They rarely, if ever, Airbnb.

Why I never stay in Airbnb. I tried once and the house had a freaking GAS leak. The house wreaked of gas. Called the owner and SHE KNEW her house had a gas leak! We wound up having to go find a hotel literally last minute for my son’s wedding. _Airbnb wasn’t helpful at all. I end up having to do a chargeback on my credit card to get reimbursed using the text traffic between the owner and I as proof she knew the house had a leak! She didn’t think k it was that bad and the gas company was coming the day AFTER we checked out!

Think people over hype airbnb, and may feel like they're getting something exclusive. I've never did airbnb, cause I've heard stories about all the fees. At least with the hotel I know what I'm getting.

This was because AirBnB was "landlord-ified" with them trying to capture every single penny out of the tenant/customer Look into the amount of AirBnB "side hustle" content there is online and shows how it became less of a craft and more of a hustle

What drives me crazy about AirBnBs is all the fees and insurance has also creeped in. You basically paying additional night. Also a lot pictures don’t show the actual quality of the place.
