Air Venturi Tune-In-A-Tube - Let’s make your spring gun SMOOOOOTH - Review by AirgunWeb

Спорт

If you have a spring gun that shoots good already, then you will want to take a look at this. Tune-in-a-tube will NOT fix a broken or inaccurate airgun, but it WILL take your spring powered airgun to the next level by greatly reducing (or completely removing) all the buzz, twang, and vibration. Better yet, you don’t have to take apart your airgun to use it. Want to know more about how this works? Be sure to watch this video!
Man it’s a great time to be an airgunner!!!

Awesome video, One question though, is there any maintenance for a gas ram rifle besides cleaning the barrel, and occasionally, lubing the rear pellet seal ? Thanks. Enjoyed the video.

I have a Walther lgu varmint I've never taken the stock off of. If I do remove the stock will I easily see the spring? It's an underlever of course.... It shoots fantastic but I'd like to make it a bit smoother if possible.

Rick, I see that you are using a Bullseye mount. What are your thoughts on the mount? Do they hold zero well? I love the idea, but I am skeptical about adding moving parts.

This ideal for lazy people or people who do not want/dare to disassemble their rifle. I prefer to take out the spring and piston, clean and debur, grease and re-instal.

So to clarify, this product is designed for guns that shoot well, not for guns that have lost power and probably needs new piston seals etc. Which I cannot locate for my particular gun. Definitely a good product, worth a try. Thanks for the video.

@NK 60 are you a natural douche bag, or is that something you've been working on? Just wondering because you're quite good at it. In fact you're such a good douche bag you made the same douche statement twice with different douche wording. Non douche bags would just tell him what kind of gun it is,(Diana 250) but I'm sure you already know that. Just sayin!!!!!!

Yeah but in the end the only improvement you achieved was lessening a sound made when breeching the rifle to cock it and maybe some spring vibration and the draw back from the viscosity was a loss of a little over 10 fps . Velocity is very important even with a .177 I might add to the overall accuracy . That's the point of my comment . As a hobby shooter and as a defender of the chicken run and hater of stray cats on my Scat Pack if it don't stop spring vibe , breech grind or scraping and up the fps or muzzle velocity , then what use is it ? I don't expect an answer . Ty

Hey there.. 10 FPS is nothing if you can reduce your standard deviation, which is a far greater benefit. This product is for folks who want a more enjoyable shooting experience delivering greater accuracy due to less vibration and better overall shot-to-shot consistency. It's not a replacement for a full spring tune, but it's a good option for those who don't have the tools or mechanical abilities. This is only really beneficial on traditional metal spring guns.. does nothing for gas ram guns. Cheers AGW

Why would you not just shim the ends of the spring to keep it from vibrating ? Sticky substances don't know the difference between dirt , dust , lint, and springs so all of the afore mentioned things seem likely to wind up in your rifle. My Talon springer ( Hatson 125 ) is so noisy that it embarrasses me to shoot it in front of someone but I still would not put glue on the spring system. Before I would do that I would convert over to the gas piston that I have for it.

Ok , first thing are we supposed to just take your word for this lube . All you did to get a base line was talk about a spring vibe . Spring vibe is not a real big thing . Shooters want more accuracy , more velocity , and consistency . Also you just mentioned that you had a slight drop in velocity safter the use of this lube due to its viscosity and drag on the piston ......Idont really see where this lube is a good thing . Air rifle manufacturers have recommended lubes for the parts and seals inside their rifles wouldnt you think those are what is to be used as all air rifles are not made the same and all air rifles use seals made of different polymers , urethanes , and elastomeric properties ? so.. you may or may not have much experience with old-school spring guns.. not gas ram guns, but old springers. Spring vibration and harmonics are a real thing. It's not about "performance" but about making the gun far more enjoyable to shoot. I spent a LOT of time looking for the right lubricant before settling what's used in the tune-in-a-tube product. It does an exceptional job of calming down the vibration. The fact that you can get significant results without having to tear the gun down, which requires a spring compressor and other specialized tools, makes this a great option for folks who just want their springer to shoot with less vibration without having to do a complete rebuild. Take it or leave it.. does not matter to me. I make nothing on it. It's just a great product for folks with old-school spring guns. Cheers AGW
