Put some cloth cammo tape on your silencer, and some on a brush handle or stick and when you leave the hide to go home leave it sticking out,so the corvids accustom to it.

Don’t know about you but I have struggled in the past to get permission to shoot on farms . I have called in to a potential new permissions , had a productive chat with the land owner about doing his pest control and even secured permission to shoot, then mentioned i shoot with a air rifle only to be told ☹️ No No No you can’t shoot much with a Airgun they are kids guns 🙄 . I thought you had a shotgun, giving me a don’t waste my time look🙄. So now I take a photo album to show when I get this response. I regularly shoot bags of 30 / 40 head with air rifles and a few pictures gets me new permissions👍

@@CORVIDHUNTER Your right airguns have came on a long way but a lot of farmers don’t view them as effective at pest control and even other shooting people don’t take them to seriously except for bumping off rats. As a former shotgun shooter I wouldn’t have believed you can out shoot a shotgun with a Airgun but I have done it many times on stubble and new drill ground where if you shot it with a shotgun you would fire 2shots and the noise would frighten every bird for miles around leaving the field empty. Yet decoys and Airgun you get shooting all day long as no noise keeps the birds coming. I haven’t broke the hundred a day mark but I am sure there’s Airgun hunters who have.

@@CORVIDHUNTER I always learn something each season hunting crows , trouble is as fast as I find a good method or way of shooting them they change their behaviour, they learn so quickly. One of my biggest bag of Crows , I shot over decoys from a hide. A red letter day for me so I thought I would shoot it again next day. Left the hide up that night, same decoys set out and in the same hide ready for a bumper day while it was still dark. I shot 2 crows 🙄 yet there was hundreds flying in to the field but they sussed out there was danger and would not decoy no matter what I changed. Super smart and their eye sight is incredible the most testing quarry I think.
