We have quite a few in the fens, good to give them an easy meal though every advantage means more chicks.

when they cover there prey with there wings its called mantling its to stop other predators from seeing there meal . great video

Enjoyed the video i normally find on my woodland shoots the buzzard are often around and on the odd occasion when I shot a pigeon the buzzard been on it as it's hit the ground , always nice to see 👍

Last year I spotted a few Red Kites in different areas of South East England.

The Kites are pretty common in some parts of the Uk these days, similiar to Buzzards 👍

Hi Lee, great video, the Buzzard is mantling, hiding it's prey with it's wings as they do, into cover as the squirrel is too heavy to fly off with, the second one was the female, larger and dominant as in all birds of prey, that's why he backed off, I agree these are probably a pair ready to establish a territory, any plans for the squirrel / pheasant combo recipe wise, regards.

Very good video Sir. I find myself zoning out & just watching critters do their thing when I'm out & about. I wonder if you have seen any of the vultures we have here in the states. Where I am we have Turkey vultures. Black w/a red, bald head. We also call them buzzards. Thanks 4 the video👍

Cracking footage mate did you know buzzards have really tiny talons and feed mainly on carion and worms
