It's Ramadan guys! You know what that means.. Air Katira, the famous drink that comes alive during Ramadan 🌙 month is back! Also known as Katira Gum Drink, this sweet, rich, flavourful beverage includes a mix of honey dew with a variety of milk which makes it a perfect appetizer before a big meal. For this recipe, I'm using one of @philipshomelivingmy's Blender 5000 series that helps smoothen the beverage really well! Adding the #peachgum, #basilseeds and #kembangsemangkuk, paired with the crunchiness of honeydew, really adds to the texture and is absolutely delicious 😋 Terus rasa macam nak bukak booth kat bazaar Ramadan tahun ni, korang rasa patut ke?? 😂

INGREDIENTS:
1tbsp - Katira (peach gum)
1tbsp - Selasih (basil seeds)
3nos - Kembang Semangkuk
1⁄4 cup - Almond Nibs
4nos - Daun Pandan
1⁄2 cup - Sugar
1⁄4 nos - Honey Dew (diced)
250ml - Full Cream Milk
100ml - Date Milk
250ml - Evaporated Milk
250ml - Whipping Cream
Garnishes
Edible Flower
Ice

METHOD
1. Add the sugar with some water into a pot together with the pandan leaves to make a sugar syrup.
2. Boil until the sugars have been dissolved and liquid is slightly greenish in color. Set aside to cool.
3. Toast the almond nibs on a dry pan until golden.
4. Strain away the soaking liquids from the 3 ingredients.
5. Combine everything together in a large jug and mix well.
6. Serve.
