This for me was my must cop for the year. I copped and im estatic too as im a half size in AJ3 - AJ8..being a US11.5 which here in Australia is virtually impossible to hit on. I think these are step up on the Metalics which i loved but moved on. The Blue / Purple is magnificent and with similar laces will make them pop jsut that much more. Loving your content as always DJ and well done on breaking through that 335k sub barrier on your way to 1mil

Once you have them, they grow on you very quickly. The only thing I would change is having the jumpman on the rear purple. The tongue needs to be purple, and the lace lock should be aqua. You can buy lots of gear to match these shoes that's why I like them

Possibly the reference to Aqua is only in colour not model , but I agree - Grapes would have set em off a little better as Aqua not only sounds cheesy but sounds like a direct reference to the 8s

Also also and way off topic. What the life expectancy for jordan retros 1-14?

I think it's tough to try and compare the actual colors of the aqua 8s and 6s, only because even if you look at OGs to retros and shoes that have retro'd multiple times, 9/10 times the colors aren't exactly the same anyways. It's not very often we see those exact color matches. But i agree they could have done better with adding some color to the back stitching, the nylon on the tongue and even the tongue itself where it says air jordan, they could have made one word aqua and one concord. Personally i agree with the name because usually the grapes as you mentioned is a deeper purple and more of an emerald color. Clean simple colorway though imo, good job but yea could have been better.

One of my BIGGEST JB “gripes” is blacking/whiting out the Jumpman/AIR on the heel of the 6z! Like, why? It’s soooo bland, and makes the shoe look sooo plain Jane! An Aqua or Concord on the heel ain’t askin for too much JB!🙄

i dished out 200 for them, but honestly as a 90s kid who wears a lot of clothes with colors like these, this was a must have for me. It was worth the price for me because I am really happy with these. @@fatdog8971
