The olive 9 release in 2012 was tough to get. Only a couple stores in my big city area got them and they didn’t have many pairs. They’ve always been a $300 plus shoe

Thanks for the more frequent updates of late Brian. 2024 keeps getting stronger and stronger with most of the recent updates. Black Toe 14s one of my all-time favorite AJ14s , Powder Blue 9s my all time favorite 9s that we are already getting in 2024 and Olive 9s not far off that. Getting to the point they really should have given us some of this heat this year since for me '23 been a somewhat underwhelming sneaker year imo.

Very happy about the olive 9's, just need the charcoal 9's to release.

With Kobes those Kobe 8 Venice Beaches are really nice just not so wearable a colorway for me anymore ; so far Kobes i am most excited about in 2024 are the Kobe 6 Italian Camos (Kobe 6s my all time favorite Kobes) and the gold medal Kobe 4s. Just hope we get adequate stock with the Kobes to somewhat meet demand. Reverse Grinches was supposedly much higher stock but still didn't come near meeting demand but the recent black Kobe 4s were quite limited again. I am really hoping for another all black Kobe 6 and / or more neutral wearable colorways ; such an amazing performance sneaker that i'd like to be able to incorporate more into the normal rotation. Italian Camos definitely fit that bill , hope to get more Kobe 6 (and other of my favorite Kobe models) colorways that do so as well.

Hopefully the quality improved from last time they retroed in 2014, cardboard stiff tanks, we need that softer leather on those side panels.

MJ WoRe the 9s in Cool Grey when he was with the wizards !!!! And I hope they release the 9s with finished shine on the eyelets. They keep releasing them matted and unfinished which is not like the original. And beforb JB releases released them missing the first eyelet with that nonsense triangle cutout. Also JB probably meant to release them this year. However probably decided to pick and choose the scheduling. Similar or due to Covid originally. Anyways your videos are fire!!! When MJ wore the 14s in the NBA Finals, that was the first time we ever saw the shoe. That was June 1998. At that time Air Jordans was dropping Feb of every new year, so while the OG Nike site might’ve messed up the year. Their right now about 2024 being the 14s 25th anniversary

1: I hope the Olive 9’s are at least close to the ‘02 Retro shape, if not the OG, and the Jumpman on the left shoe correctly faces left. If JB gets them right, then I can retire my ‘02 pairs that I restored. 2: The Black Toes, along with the other OG 14’s (minus UNC mids), released during the ‘98-99 NBA season. Technically that’s still the 25th anniversary 3: Unpopular opinion, but I like the ‘06 Black Toe Retro a lot more than the OG style. The ribbed leather makes them pop more; and that kinda makes them reimagined before the reimagined trend we’re seeing now.

Most of the original Air Jordan 14’s released in 1999 which would make it the 25 anniversary. The black toe 14 was the only colorway to release in 1998. Jordan Brand would usually release one colorway to start the NBA Season at the end of each year and then follow it up with the rest of the colorways top of the next year to finish out that particular season. At least that’s what they did from 1996-1997 with the 12’s and 1997-1998 with the 13’s. Jordan didn’t play a season with the 14’s but they released just like the previous 2 models with 1 pair in 1998 (the black toe) and the rest in 1999 ( candy cane, oxidized green, etc). Hope this clears it up. If not, your own website even has the dates. Furthermore, the 9’s first colorway (Space Jams or whatever you want to call them) came out in 1993 at the end of the year but the other colorways (Carolina, olive, and charcole) released in 1994. So, because it was 1994 that’s why we are getting 9’s this year for the 30 year anniversary. Jordan brand is going with the latter year to celebrate the anniversary’s!!! Watch and see what happens in 2025 lol. If this holds true then there will be some 10’s in 2025

2 Jordans that i bought at an outlet store for less than a 100 bucks back in the day!!!!.... pretty sure it will NOT be the case this time around!!!.... The "olive" is a must cause my 2001 pair is not wearable anymore but where are the AJ9 "charcoal" and will they ever make the all black and red pair!!??
