I told our lass, l would give it a go. Did them, exactly how you said, plated up, and took them to her. ....she had been dead for 2 weeks! So ate them all myself.

Such a palava, try fresh cut potatoes boil for 10 mins, drizzle in oil, salt and roast in air fryer for 15 mins at 180, shake and cook another 5 mins, job done

How much electricity have you used with the microwave for 5 minutes the airfryer for 25 minutes, then the waiting over half an hour for chip shop chips, the whole reason that chip shops are popular is because its a quick and convenient way to get your fish & chips.

To get the best chip it’s all about the potato quality and unfortunately most times potato’s here in uk supermarkets are crap, except around September for a few months u can get decent Maris pipers and king edwards.

Frozen french fries are the best to cook in an air fryer, 14 minutes at 200c. They come out nice and crispy

I do all my chips in air fryer now, mccains make super crunchy chips frozen they are almost identical to chip shop

try this much easier, 15mins at 150 then turn over another 15mins at 150 test, then another 5-10mins at 170 if needed.

Use normal table salt 🧂 for chips 👍🏻

Wots good to Keith is to peel spuds and rinse then dry put in microwave for 3mins let them steam for a minute preheat airfryer and cook for about 20mins depending on wot airfryer you have

The only thing that struck me was the source of the luke warm water. Someone once told me that the hot tap shouldn't be used for consumption. Maybe it was an old plumbing thing. I would be wary of exposing my food to the hot tap water and therefore use the cold tap and take the chill off either in a kettle or the microwave. Maybe not an issue in newer homes.

I think 5 mins in microwave will sort any bugs

Tried the chips total crap you must be used to crap food

So these are triple cooked as are partially cooked in factory and freeze dried then cooked twice in air fryer lol

It does seem like a lot of faffing around. Vinegar on first, or it washes the salt off!

Not a big deal but I think KZreadrs saying I saw a video but forget the name should work a bit harder to at least look and find out who the other youtuber was. Not a big deal but have a pen and paper and write down any inspiration just to give a bit of credit even if it doesn't directly I fluence the video.

That's the problem with frozen chips , to many different sizes of chip , how can they all perform the same through the cooking processes.
