12:00 Beautiful scenery over Mongolia, I have only ever flown over it in the dark. You got the best economy seats on any 777, I like the two seat configuration. Food looks great on Air China. Great video, thanks for sharing it with the world.

Thank you for leaving a comment, I hope the review gave you a general taste of the standard of Air China's inflight services. There is still room for improvements, but they delivered me to my destination safely and I managed to make my £ stretch further.

KonstiYH Flight Reviews we will be flying to Tokyo next year and air china are giving superb deals on flights via Beijing and also you have a free 24 hr transit visa so saving costs there also , your video is exactly what I was looking for so Thankyou so much , I have subscribed and will watch more videos

@@nikytabacchetti1 I've never read any positive reviews of ANY Chinese airlines, this one seems to be the worst of the bunch.

I’ll fly from zurich to Peking next year. Actually I wanted to avoid this airline because I heard so much negative. But I had to book them because of the connections it was the only option without waiting at the airport for more than 8 hours or even more. (Peking-North Korea / North Korea -peking) In your Video this Airline makes a very good Impression!

Superb and really informative video with easy-to-follow onscreen narrative. I'd like to visit China, next year, as an Englishman. I think, obviously, a visa is essential. Is there anything else I should know, you think, before visiting China (Chengdu) for the first time?

+Muhammad Simjee yes, it was very smoggy during the early December... can't even see much from the terminal building. But luckily on the return leg in February 2016, Beijing Airport was clear of smog.

Roberta Bulgarelli Air China offer free inflight meals and full bar service including alchohol beverages like most full service carrier. Personal Inflight entertainment also included on long haul flights. Check-in luggage also included in your ticket price.

Hey ... Great video! I am planning on going to Bangkok by London ... do you recomend this company? It is it good ? To much delays? Because we have 1 hour and 40 minutos to swithc airplane in beijing to bangkok ... its the same company, do u think that its risky ???? Thanks

Hi Miguel, thanks for leaving a comment. Where will you be starting your flight? I think for the price I've paid, around £330 (Euro370) for a London - Bangkok return flight, I would recommend Air China. The transit in Beijing Capital airport was smooth and pleasant, you should have plenty time for the connecting flight to Bangkok. You might not have your personal AVOD inflight entertainment on the 5-hour Beijing to Bangkok leg if the aircraft is not the latest Boeing 777-300ER.

Yes, the flight will start in London :) what was concerning me, was the fact that 1 hour and 40 min could be a very short period of time, for the all security check´s until the next flight ... or the process is another ?

I managed to make the connecting flight to Bangkok, i think it's around 1 hour 40 minutes. You should be able to do the same, the process was smooth.

Hum ok ... Just one more thing! It the company delays getting to Beijing, and you miss the other flight, they il have to put you into another flight free of charge right ? The company is the same, from the begginig until the end of the travel

I should think Air China is responsible to make sure you get to Bangkok, there are 2 daily flights to Bangkok from Beijing if not mistaken, in the unlikely event of you missing the connecting flight, you shouldn't be waiting for 24 hours to the next flight out.

Great video. I flew with Air China from Beijing to Datong, it was not as good for me

Tom Mulchinock having now flown with air China I can say that the food is awful, the aircraft are old and worn out, the seats held together with cable ties, and the entertainment system old and dated. The selection of drinks was not fantastic either. The staff on the other hand were lovely. Maybe if this "review" had actually covered those very basic topics that one would expect of a review, then I may have been able to make an informed decision not to fly with them. I feel that what I have just written is a far better review than this pointless and uninformative video.

Ah, Air China.Does one get any service from their ground staff? In your dreams. Service? They dont know the meaning of the word. When I last used their lounge on a trip Beijing- Singapore, two of their staff were arguing over their respective work quotas, quite oblivious of the passengers who were trying to get into the lounge. Lounge any good? Same lack of service - like they dont care one hoot. Any better on board? sadly no.
