Apparently, Kobe attributes those 4 airballs against the Jazz as a teenager to not having done enough weight-training to get used to the rigors of NBA life, and that the game schedule was so taxing on him in a way that high school basketball wasn't. Once he realized that, he worked to correct that, and well, the rest was history.

Failure to recognize that brings glory to you, the sinner, which is indirectly stating that Christ is not enough to bring you salvation - which then puts down the greatness of His sacrifice and is the most prideful thing you can do. John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten son, that whomever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life" Don't work your way to heaven, you won't get there. Believe and trust that Christ has worked FOR YOU to go to heaven. Jesus is enough and salvation is for everyone.

Ahhhh, the Air Ball. Has always been one of my favorite sports bloopers. The term was coined by legendary Chick Hearn, btw. Always cracks me up to see the basketball sailing silently, often majestically . . through the air . . to land . . nowhere . . I had a friend who called'em "Oxygen" and I actually suggested that to Chick Hearn once but it didn't catch on.

I think airballs when it’s not a last second heave… has got to be the most embarrassing thing you can do in basketball. Also, that first clip might be the biggest “you had one job” moment in all of sports.
