Air Ambulance: Lake District (Season 1 Episode 2) | Full Documentary

Ойын-сауық

A team races to the aid of a mother and daughter involved in a high-speed motorcycle crash, before zipping off to the Lake District to help a cyclist hit by a car. Timing is everything, too, when the crew turn their attention to a four-year-old girl with a serious leg fracture.
This character-driven documentary series will tell the story of the UKs extraordinary doctor-led helicopter emergency team and offer a unique look at the cutting edge medicine they use to save lives every day. With rare access, the series will follow chopper doctor flying teams in the North and South of Britain. These Air Ambulance ER units carry doctors, not simply paramedics, so audiences will witness life-saving surgery and pioneering medicine on the front line as the hospital effectively comes to the roadside or the mountain. Cameras will be there every step of the way from the moment the emergency call comes in and the team is scrambled to landing at the scene and treating the patient. In some cases the programme will also follow the patients journey in hospital and their recovery. But the heart of each film is constructed around the platinum half hour the critical 30 minutes following a major accident. As well as offering a privileged window into this extraordinary service, Air Ambulance ER provides an intimate portrait of the remarkable and inspirational characters behind it.

I had no idea about the lice either. I’ve been to a lot of resorts where you see people doing that, and never occurred to me. Regarding potato chips, I’ve actually seen them at $20 in the Mexican resort. And the price was pretty much the same at the Cancun airport

I love watching these shows, when you hear that red phone ringing then you know it's serious. Showing them running to the aircraft, reading the maps and helping with landing directions. It's heartwarming to see how focused they get on scene. Great job.

The comment the paramedic made about it being difficult to eat in that job made me chuckle. My brother is an ER physician, and has said the exact same thing. He said the three rules of Emergency Medicine are: 1) Eat when you can. 2) Sleep when you can. 3) Don’t f$&k with the pancreas.

I love watching these shows but it seems like they've changed stuff around u can't find all the videos cause everyone is putting them on different channels! It's sad that it only runs on donations! They would have so much more access n things if they had the money for it! It's sad but what they do get to help on they do amazing jobs! The one where the 17yr old fell through a sun bed absolutely crushed my heart! R.I.P. buddy!

Notice how many ads get thrown up on pirated content? I bet if I contacted the producers they wouldn’t have any knowledge of all these people stealing their work. It takes contracts to be able to show someone’s work. Networks have to pay to show!
