Ksenia is such a chameleon with her voice. She excels at every style. From Karen Carpenter to Chaka Kahn, what a range!

Drummer is a complete bad-ass! I've seen other cuts where he gets even wilder!

When a group from Eastern Europe can do Chaka Kahn proud, you know that Leonid and Friends are the real deal! I am so mesmerized how the musicians nail every note the lead singer is so sultry and soulful.

We get ear candy and eye candy. Love it. Leonid's musical scores are genius.

Man, they are smoking, Leonid is a crazy good arranger, no doubt about it.

Better than original song , amazing

Your approach of watching the entire video and only making small comments in reaction through it with more complex analysis at the end is, in my humble opinion, the winning combination. Also - the fact that you relegate the major portion of the screen to the video of the performers but also a nicely sized portion to yourself so we don't lose track of the fact we are sharing this with someone who actually, really does know what they are assessing? Makes the experience more meaningful and fun. Keep up your good work - because we, inquiring minds want to know!

I’ve been following this group for a few years now, they are amazing with Earth Wind & Fire and Chicago covers too.. her name is pronounced Ka-Zenia …. Her vocals are smokin

I hadn’t heard this song before the L&F recording, and was curious what the original sounded like - and was struck by how sterile the original sounded by comparison. They didn’t just cover the song, they greatly improved the orchestration.

I found them by accident. They are phenomenal. Music is truly the universal language.

I can't imagine enough hyperbole to describe these guys and their tremendous talents. I've heard many bassists in my 70 plus years but this dude is as cool as they come. As a wise man once said there are not enough ohs in smoooooth to describe him.

I was lucky enough to see leonid and friends in Cincinnati 2 years ago. They were unbelievable live. Leonid. Is pronounced LEohnid. Emphasis on the first syllable. Ksenia has an e like see. You nailed her last name

I've been following these guys for about 4 years now. It never ceases to amaze me how accurate their reproductions are. From the tone of the instruments to the studio mix and blend. Leonard is a masterful arranger composer and producer. All the musicians are phenomenal musicians are phenomenal. I discovered David played live the night before I found out they played at dosey doe in The Woodlands Texas about 5 mi from my house. I'm going to make sure I don't miss them next time.

I really like the way that everyone in the band does the backup vocals for everyone else. Great band!

Please review any ALL of their stuff, 25 or 6 to 4, September, Fantasy, Vehicle and I love You More Than You'll Ever Know. Everything to do is pure gold. See them live as well you will NOT be dissappointed!

The best cover for this song ever! k looks as beautiful and sexy as she sounds. Most singers don’t have either one she was blessed to have both.

The next Lenoid & Friends song you have to do is 25 or 6 to 4. This is one of there earlier songs when they were just covering Chicago. You will love it.

Started following them way back in 2020 during the pandemic...saw them live at the Crest Theater in Sacramento in '21...absolutely THE BEST! Seriously, BETTER than the originals, regardless who they cover!!

In Russian name Ksenia, as I have already noticed, the most difficult thing for non-Slavic speakers is the combination of the letters K and S. They must be pronounced together, without a slightest gap. For example, like in the phrase "back side". Stress on the first syllable. In the surname "Buzina", the stress is on the first syllable too, this is important. Sir, your reaction is amazing, you feel the music subtly! Greetings from Moscow!

Weird high quality. It must be a combination of musical scholing (conservatorium), mentality (love for good music) and working ethos (discipline). And without talent they would never have succeded at their music high school. Its when pro´s start to make pop music the level rises. We have seen that with BS&T and Chicago in the past. Rick Wakeman (and many others) is another schooled musician that hung with pop-kids. Many of the early english prog-rock bands had roots in jazz and classical music. Also Sting. When the culture drops with Punk, Disco and Rap we better go back to blues and jazz.

Specifically, Moscow. Their previous lead singer was from Kyiv but hasn't been with the band since the idiodic war started. Not sure if he'll be back when it's over or not, but L&F do NOT like or want this war.

They all live in the Moscow area but do come from different parts of Russia. For example both Leonid and Ksenia come from the Siberian City of Chita. And no, Serge will never perform with them again. @@CactusCatt

I believe there is one Ukrainian in the band. He sang most of the Chicago songs they did. Long dark hair and beard, his anme escapes me atm sadly. The rest I understand are Russian.
