Dennis Banks was my teacher and leader. Will forever have the greatest respect and love for him. Honor to a person who taught me so much and give me back so much of my native heritage. For all the founders and warriors I honor you all. ❤

So proud of what AIM did...Dennis Banks, Russell Means (RIP) and all the rest of the activist people and tribes across the land. Being a historical descendant of Taiño/Arawak people in the Caribbean, It was there that the first impact of colonial terror was felt. I respect and still support the struggle and admire these warriors for what they did many winter's ago. AIM's voice represents indigenous people throughout the globe as Dennis always stated. De Corazon! ❤🇵🇷

Here in Kamloops, BC, Canada, I miss the sounds of the pow-wows we’d have each year, I legitimately never thought I’d live to see it not happen on our lands for even one year... I miss the songs of the Natives down south of here, hope we have a pow-wow this year, 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

So wonderful to see this old film, especially the great Russell Means RIP. I hope his spirit is free with the wind that blows over the Black Hills.
