I completely agree with you and you explained it very well. Most asian parents raise their kids to be someone that the society approves of. What they actually should do is raise them up to be who they are meant to be. Raising them with conciousness .

@@rard2963 i think most mothers are like that, specially if you are a girl. my mom is also like that and im 23. she was always like "why are you wearing a sweater? its so hot today. go back and change" even if its my preferred clothes i have to change because if i don't, she would nag at me. i think, its a mother thing.. it won't change even if you get so older than 30.

I used to cry before because my mom makes me wear dress I don't like and I was a boyish back then. She won't allow me to go out with my friends if I won't wear what she likes 😭

I love when parents raise their child to be confident and encouraging them to do what they want to do like picking out a outfit for themselves might seem like nothing but that helps them become their own individual… I’ll try to do the same IF I become a mom💀

This is how i see myself as a mom in the future. I may be saying that i would never have a child since i'm afraid of giving birth, but the idea of having someone your own and guiding them the way you wanted is amazing. It may look old school in the future but i'd love to experience dancing hard, dying hair, picking out clothes that we're banned or i wasn't allowed to wear when i was younger with my kid would be such a fun idea.
