Thank you very much.
Sir an excellent vlog, Sir can you please provide the exact name of book in the description or comment, I have a small book of Fa-Hsien who travelled in ancient India (399-414 AD) before Huns destruction of the Gandhara, but I was quite disappointed by the English translation of that book, I really am very much interested in knowing about the one you have, thank you 🙏🏽

The book is titled Buddhist Records of the Western World, a translation of the works of the three Chinese pilgrims to India including Fa Hian, Sung Yun and the master Xuanzang. The translation is by Prof Samuel Beal and my copy is a reprint by M/s Motilal Banarsidass the well-known publishers of classical reprints. There is yet another good work by Thomas Watters "On Yuan Chwang's Travels in India". This published by Munshiram Manoharlal.

@@salmanrashid8880 thank you 🙏🏽 Sir.
The contrast between Xuanzang's lyrical prose and Gandhala's present reality could not have been greater. Yet, I'm planning to visit Katas Raj and Gandhala next weekend anyway.

Three of them, sir jee. Two exactly alike named Number 1 and Number 2. Number 2 befriended me after Number 1 hence the names. It is 2 who is all over me. 1 comes for a pet and then sits away. Then there is the brother I call Aloof. He just looks at the three of us with great disdain. They are very pretty cats.
Salman Saheb. Great description. What is the English name of the book of Xuanzang travels?

The translation by Prof Samuel Beal is titled Buddhists Records of the Western World. This contains the works of Fa Hian and Sun Yun who preceded Xuanzang. I also have another by Thomas Watters titled On Yuan Chwang's Travels in India. Both are reprints from Indian publishers.

Thank you 🙏
That's sad sir, any story related to the destruction of our common motherland hurts. The orange tabby was a great addition to the video. Not to stir any careful balance that exists over there, I ask this only out of the urge to know more about our fellow subcontinent-ers . Is there still such a power dynamic between natives and afghans in punjab even after most of punjab now has converted , i.e. that of a ruler/raider and the ruled? Again I don't ask this out of cynicism or any other ulterior motives.

Most people could simply not care less. Locals in the Salt Range who have been grossly wronged by these thugs hate them. I was always wary of them right from the start when everyone was literally drooling over them as holy warriors.

@@salmanrashid8880 got it. 🙏 . I understand people's apprehensions in Pakistan when an Indian says things like these. But Every sign of Indianness (I could not find any other word to express it in a neutral way) seems to be withering away from our western neighborhood. I am not referring to their religious beliefs. Our languages, idioms, concern for the nature etc the things that make us "people from the subcontinent" . I really hope the reality on the ground is much more calm, peaceful and wholesome.
Billa is from Gujranwala . Pakka 😁
