Taimur was financed by the bankers in Venice, Milan and Genoa. There is no wonder why Shakespeare has nothing nice to say about them. I think you should read the work of Franz Cumont. He's the only historian who manages to put the puzzle pieces together in a way that history makes some sense to the ordinary reader.

I haven't read Cumont. In fact, never even heard the name. But now I must get hold of this book. Thank you very much.

@salmanrashid8880 Read Cumont if you are interested in ancient religions Sir and how they impacted the known Divine ones. There is a continuity in history which most people cannot recognise and the constant clash between the contradictory is either usually ignored or willfully disregarded.

@@Hrrrrrr25847 Thank you very much. I will indeed and soonest. And should it be Mysteries of Mithra?

@salmanrashid8880 If you are going to read out of curiosity then this is a good choice as Mithraism originated in Persia and then was later propagated in Rome ( Constantinople ) till the advent of Jesus . I was introduced to Cumont while investigating the myth of the dying god and the cults associated with it. You do understand that the three wise men were the Magi who travelled to Bait ul Lahm and offered their gifts to the Immaculately Concepted. The Magi were also called the Magusis مجوسی earlier on.

Thanks a lot. Yes, I do understand the Magi. I've asked for the book. Thank you again for pointing me in this direction.@@Hrrrrrr25847
