Cool video, thank you so much! I think this is perfect for a quick prototype or jam. If you just spend some more minutes decorating the scene with real 3d props, specially to hide the weird gaps, you already have a small level. I think for first/third person cameras you will end seeing the trick but what about an strategy game were you have a isometric camera? I guess, this will be even better in such use cases since the camera is more deterministic and you can better trick the scene.
Thanks for letting us know about the very cool tools. I wish Unity pricing gets reverted to Unity 5's

It is pretty crazy! Kind of falls apart as soon as you move away from the center though, I think for something like a chess game, where you stay near the center, just rotating, it could work pretty well. I wonder what it will be like in a year

@@AaronHibberd Hello, good afternoon, sorry for the inconvenience, I have not tried skybox ai yet but I am interested in using it for animations in blender, currently the AI has a 3D mesh export function that apparently downloads it as GLB format, however I see that what you do is download the file as a JPG, could you kindly explain why? I saw that on the official skybox ai page you can download as a cubic map or a depth map or an hdri, I don't know which of these three formats you downloaded and the main question is that just as you gave depth to the format you downloaded so that work as a 3D environment of a game I wonder if I can also do it in blender to make my 3D animations, maybe also in cinema 4D too

@@OsoTedyfazbear3329 When I made this video it was an older version and they didn't have the option to download a 3D mesh, that's why I had that other way of doing it. You should definitely download the mesh from the website and don't follow my outdated tutorial :) I think the GLB format will probably open in Blender already set up in 3D. I noticed they also have an official Unity Plug in now too

@@AaronHibberd Thank you for responding, but to be honest, what I wanted was to avoid having to pay for the technowizard plan, which is where that functionality is included and costs between $50 or $60 dollars depending on the subscription 😳

Which unity version are you using? When I try to import genesis it shows more than 100 errors in unity 2019 and 2021

I always use the newest LTS, so it was 2021 probably around 2021.3.25f1

Wow this is so cool! Fully 3d rendered scenes with AI in 5 minutes would be amazing. Thanks for the share. Is there any way to do this in Unreal Engine?

Unity has an FBX Exporter in the package manager, so I think you can export it and drop the FBX into Unreal. I bet in the future there will be a tool to generate a 3D environment directly in Unreal. I mean Photoshop is already starting to use AI so it's only a matter of time

That tool is only for Unity, but you can export it to Blender, there's an FBX exporter in the package manager. Someone will probably make a way to do it directly in Blender, that Blockade Labs website already added the option to download a depth map, and without the broken seam
