Ahsoka x Rebels Ending

Музыка

Mash up of the ending of Star Wars Rebels with new visuals from Ahsoka. Edited to be shot for shot of the Rebels epilogue.
Disney confirmed that this scene is Ahsoka is the same as Rebels: www.starwars.com/news/ahsoka-...
"Sabine uses a knife to slice through her long locks and then gets armored up for her journey ahead, rejoining her Master Ahsoka Tano on the quest to find Thrawn and bring their friend Ezra Bridger home. It’s a moment that’s familiar to Star Wars Rebels fans, with a few shot-for-shot recreations of the animated series’ epilogue."

2 things: 1) My headcanon is now that the characters from Rebels have an inner-monologue that sounds like their animated voice actors. 2) My wife and I were talking yesterday after watching the first 2 episodes, and thought it would've been cool for Ahsoka to do credits like how the Mandalorian does its concept art, except for Ahsoka, it could've been an animated style of scenes from the show. How cool would it be to see Baylan and Morgan animated in the Rebels style for the credits?

I love Rebels soooo much and I got teary eyed at this scene. I’ve waited for years with very little hope that I’d ever see what happens with the Ghost Crew and Ezra and I’m so happy it’s finally here AND in live action where so far, Hera and Sabine (and Chop) are absolutely perfect. Sabine and Kanan are both in my top 5 fav Star Wars characters, and though I unfortunately won’t see Kanan, I’m more than thrilled to see Sabine come to life.

@@JaredAdamsMusic The way I have it is that the scene that happens in Rebels is what kicks off Sabine's apparent apprenticeship to Ahsoka, which is something we have not seen but has already happened before the start of Ahsoka. For reasons, Sabine stops being Ahsoka's apprentice for a time, is back on Lothal, then Ahsoka the show kicks off which leads to this second mirroring scene. Otherwise, why is written that Sabine was Ahsoka's "former" apprentice, stopped being her apprentice, then start being her apprentice again? Why not just have Sabine's apprenticeship start within the show itself?

@Ruylopez778 That is highly possible. But seeing tales about other Jedi's would be awesome too. They should make it a series just like Clone Wars and Rebels. I think that the majority of the fans would be more than ok with that. But unfortunately Disney doesn't really care what the fans want. And as long Filoni isn't the one with the last word, we have to be happy with the good stuff that we get.

    10 ай бұрын

@@thomdeeksdijksman5552 Yes, it can be infuriating. Although I do feel they are kind of stuck. The fandom is more fractured than it ever was. I hear comments saying, 'no more Skywalkers' and others desperate for Luke, but I think whatever they do with Luke some fans will complain. Recast, deepfake, de-age, retell the EU stories, new stories.... And there's a small industry on KZread of exaggerating and hating on everything from Disney. As long as the sequels are still canon, some people will be determined to complain about anything in the timeline. I liked the TotJ format, but yeah, it would be good to get an entire season (or more) on Rebels to fill in the timeline. I do like the idea of some mystery though. I was thinking earlier that Ahsoka left Anakin and left Sabine, so perhaps reuniting to 'begin again' is a way to move on from Anakin. In which case, it makes sense to start the show this way. And there was enough time that it's more interesting to start with them being different I think. A bit like the jump from ESB to ROTJ, or AOTC to ROTS. Personally, I think this show (a bit like Mando) is saying to the fandom, OK, let's start over, properly and expand this franchise and look forward (and ignore the sequel characters). But I think some fans don't want to accept that. Because they feel what 'should be Luke's' is being given away to someone else (again).

By the standards that decanonized the EU, Rebels should be decanonized several times over, it's bad. Further inserting Rebels is just insult to injury, especially tieing it in with a generally well liked character such as ahsoka funny thing is, many videos on popular star wars channels had to come out explaining the Rebels characters as if people weren't familiar with them. "watch before you watch ahsoka" , "Rebels backstory" type videos. That's not indicative of a show being relevant to its viewers. The rest of you can surely enjoy it, not stopping you there. and just as a disclaimer, I hate regressives and misogynists, especially because they're the loudest minority making criticism of filoni/disney-canon look far fetched. The old wars and new wars communities are fairly separate at this point, with regressives dipping into disneycanon channels far more than decent wars fans do. This is a we problem.
