I don't know about The personality of actual Akbar but I can say he must not be as impressive as Prithvi Raj Kapoor Saab's walk, way of talk, speak sounds like a lion. Best movie ever made in Indian cinema history ❤

What a wonderful acting and dialogue delivery by Prithvi Raj Kapoor. Hats off to you sir. No one else could have carried off the role of Akbar with this elan. And Madhubala, the mixed expressions of surprise, fear, guilt, and love on her face. Really beautiful.

Dilip as a prince and underdog in the story had to be in control of emotions. Which he did exceptionally great. Prithvi Sahab, as an emperor had to be imperious and commanding. He did bring out the Akbar on the screen. A masterpiece

This is when movies were meaningful and great.

Historical movie, dialogue delivery of Prithvi Rajkapoor and Dilip Kumar is soo Superb, unforgettable dialogues.

Great movie and I saw it about eight times,Magnificent Film.

I cannot pick one actor who is alone responsible for taking movie .to such sylvan heights. The quartet Prithviraj, Dilip, Madhubala and Durga Khote did the heavy lifting. But Ajit, Nigar, Tabassum supported well. Then come the great songs from Naushad and Shakeel. But in my opinion the Oscar goes to the dialogue writers Amaah Khan, Ehsan Rizvi, Kamal Amrohi and Vajahat Mirza.

What a wonderful movie..!!! Every character marvellous Perfection on peak..nothing left to do more by every one But Dilip Kumar is beyond every one..

A perfect film on history and drama by the great film maker K. Asif which made history down the line of history of film industry.

I have never seen in my entire life any actor worldwide rising to such dazzling heights of charisma and conviction while playing the greatest emperor of Indian subcontinent of that era !! Young Dilip Kumar was eaten alive by overpowering Prithvi Raj Kapoor ! All subsequent Kapoor generations have earned their livelihood majorly through this immortal legacy ,Prithvi Raj had left behind through the unforgettable portrayal of the great emperor !
