As for the interesting things in WW2, Coke got together with the "bundle of sticks" party that ruled Germany at the time and made "Fanta" as a result of trying to get around trade embargoes.

The manager of the coke manufacturing plant in Germany sourced local ingredients to make fanta because of the trade embargo. Coke acquired the rights/recipe after the war and they could communicate with their Germany plant. It's not nearly as exciting when you don't embellish the truth.

A game like this, set in the "Star Trek" based universe/game/setting "Starfleet Battles" would be fun, build a bunch of federation light cruisers or whatnot, invade the klingons. blasty explody fun.

Love theses boat campaigns. Really relaxing watching thousands drown or burn and millions of tons of steel go down into the ocean.

I haven't laughed that hard in a while, with the comical crunches and scrapes at every break in the speech at the one hour mark.

@@weldonwin Why? You can have the "workers" work in the factory ... and then charge them exorbitant rent for staying in the "hotel". Just slap a Disney label on it and americans would jump on the chance to go on that cruise.

Aww, big sad I had this pop up in my feed and thought it was new. When Tex mentioned Magistratum Mundanus I got really hopeful it was coming back. Magistratum was amazing. Such a great funny adventure.

I remember playing this a bit last night and after watching your videos I tested an idea. Germany 1890 light torpedo cruisers. 8 16 inch torpedo launchers and 10 2inch guns. 17 knot speed and 1200 tons. It was shockingly deadly and silly. I had 300 of them. I didn't need a battleship.

Speaking of the tumblehome. Looking at the curvature of the armor, would that not be incredibly bad against shells coming down at an angle? It looks like it was designed to deflect shots coming in horizontally, like a point-blank broadside.

Yes, that was the whole idea of tumblehome-designs. Firecontrol systems were so awful at one point that it was basically just flat trajectory gunfights.

As memory serves the big problem was that they had a nasty tendency to roll and capsize once they started taking on water. Although since this was a conclusion based on the Russian loss at Tsushima after sailing halfway around the world, those _Borodino_ class ships may have had other problems just as important...

it apiers to be, to resive notification you need to go in to the notifications settings and turn them on, i mean everything on that exist in this settings, KZread disable it by default for some reason, so just hitting the bell button is not working anymore. and this need to be done on the viewer end, creators have nothing to do with that. youtube is just a dumb machine.
