They are both part of the lgbtq+ community, and they gathered friends who are great singers in support for the Miami Pulse massacre. So, it's Scott, Mitch, Brian Justin Crum, Mario Jose, and Mary Lambert. You know where the first 3 are from, Mario was part of the stage crew for ptx, got to know Scott and Mitch, who discovered how good he is also and had him open a few shows. Mary is from Seattle and has worked with Ryan Lewis and macklemoore. Their version of Rise will hurt you. I've heard other reactors say that the talent is illegal and that the lineup is the Avengers of music. Get ready for eargasms, goosebumps, and tears. Enjoy

YES to all of that! It's one of THE MOST POWERFUL AND MEANINGFUL songs I've ever heard. Their context of it is perfect.

Watched this amazing performance live. Total silence from a hall full of people who are usually very vocal. Spellbound at the end. That he lost to a squeaky young girl means that the Public voted "cute', not 'talent'. He really got ripped off, but has gone on from there. He's an amazing vocalist, as anyone who hears him knows.

Absolutely one of my favorite performances from AGT! Brian is a very powerful singer. Very glad that someone requested this, this is my favorite version of this song.

So glad you did this one. BJC is such a great singer! The silence at the end speaks a thousand words. Everyone in that audience felt his emotions. This is my favorite cover of this song. Pentatonix's version is second. By the way, you should check out Superfruit's cover of Rise. Superfruit is an old You Tube channel of Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix. It features BJC and it is awesome.
