I met Madame Varda in a 1983 film class (her films) at SUNY Albany. For 3 weeks we watched her films with the filmmaker herself. Looking back, how cool was that? Madame Varda, two other students and I had lunch together one day at the university restaurant...I knocked on her door on rue Daguerre a few times in summer 2015 and one day spoke to an associate, but I missed seeing Agnes Varda. The artist discussed, a bit, her experience in Albany during an interview in Los Angeles. Mais oui, je suit grand fanatique d'Agnes Varda.
