He actually exemplifies the issue with cow towing to shareholders. You need accounting to know what you're spending. Cutting it means you're losing money all over and you'd never know. By all logic Cutting all customer facing roles and automating it is efficient and lower cost but it would immediately lose customers who refuse to jump through hoops with a machine vs a person. We actively see this as people refuse to use even the machines at fast food restaurants to take orders vs the person.

He was such a interesting antagonist. Why it was so easy to beat him. I mean Retsuko throw him from the window with dead metal while he and Haida were arm wrestling. These season's final was soo bad.

I like how Himuro can't really lie to Washimi because she's similar to him as well but very different where as Himuro doesn't really connect with anybody. She has friends and see value in them. I like to think after season 4 Himuro near death experience and defeat taught him there are different ways to achieve victory by actually working with others instead of only using them. If anything I'd say he still has Washimi as a friend. I mean why else would she have come to check on him?

I can see this actually. He knew one way and Washimi was slowly showing him how wrong that way was, especially with the "cheating" on the tea thing they like to do. Showing how unfair while also still being "allowed" something can be.

one of my jobs was alot like this they payed us pennies on the dollar and if they didn't like us or straight up didn't want to pay us they would do this shizz. don't let them bully you into leaving they will make it as grueling as possible but they can't do anything until you resign and if you resign you forfeit what little benefits and payments you'll get.

Japan does not have at-will employment like the US does, so it is difficult and legally dangerous for an employer there to fire you without a very strong justification, such as stealing from the company. Even if the company is underperforming financially or they claim poor performance as a justification, employment is so intrinsically tied to social stability that the company has to prove your firing was *necessary,* meaning that they have to exhaust other alternatives.
